Will it fix all of my problems, to have you sitting behind me and rubbing my overstuffed belly? I don't know. But I think we owe it to science to find out. Who's with me? FOR SCIENCE!!!

This is the foundation of all hope btw. In the words of Tolkien, 'despair is for those who see the end beyond all doubt. We do not.'
maybe a hug would cure me. maybe a bag of caramels would cure me. maybe an hour in the sun would cure me. maybe a hot bath would cure me. maybe therapy would cure me. maybe moving to Alaska would cure me. maybe reading bell hooks would cure me. maybe writing a poem would cure me. maybe letting the soft animal of my body love what it loves would cure me.

the absolute terror of having a work dream and waking up not knowing what day it is
The thing is, no one is doing it perfectly (I know, groundbreaking take). We're completely inundated with information and have been for a while, about everything we could do better and everything we're probably not prioritizing enough in our personal lives. You're not doing the smartest thing with your money. You're not eating enough of x. You're eating too much of y. You're on the phone too much. You should use these 15 apps. You should clean this thing at least weekly. You should replace this thing every month. You shouldn't go through so much plastic though. Track your sleep. Exfoliate your skin. Shape your nails. Should you be having lactose? Go on a diet. Go on a fast. Buy this particular car seat or you're a bad parent. Buy the expensive cat treats or you're a bad pet owner. Work out x times a week or you're lazy. Read the classics or you're stupid. Wear this shape of pants or you're cringe. Cut out these food groups or you'll get sick and die. Know every political issue deeply or you're a bad person. You're not enough. You're never enough.
I KNOW and yet I struggle to keep it in mind: hitting the recommended spot of every aspect of life would require 50 hour days and amounts of money I'll never see. It's fine. You'll be fine. You'll be fine. You'll be fine. People live fine, entire lives missing all of the standards. People change their sheets too rarely and they're fine. They go to the gym and do more chatting than working out. They binge crappy shows. They tell white lies. They get the cheap shampoo. They eat chocolate. They have too many drinks in one night. They lie to their kids sometimes. They procrastinate and take shortcuts and improvise and forget things and make mistakes and it's probably fine. Like by all means do what works for you, pursue changes you really want to, push yourself when it's prudent, but you won't reach that perfection and it's FINE. It's so fine. You're a complete and worthy person anyway. And you'll never be so on top of things that nothing bad can happen, which is what I think they want us to believe. Shield yourself from danger by doing EVERYTHING RIGHT.
It doesn't work. We are vulnerable no matter what. Trauma will hit us. What we need to cope with that is each other. We need love and care and community, not an all-consuming inward focus on perfecting every detail of our own souls, homes and bodies.
scenario I’ve been rotating in my head recently is someone overeating by accident and getting belly rubs for the first time and immediately latching onto the intimacy of it. but they’re too shy to ask for them again, so they start stuffing themselves uncomfortably full all. the. time. and just being generally pitiful about how much their tummy hurts to get more. this of course results in a pretty significant gain, as well as a developing addiction to the feeling of being stuffed. by the time they just come out and admit they wanted attention but didn’t know how to ask for it, gorging themselves has become a daily activity.
AHHH i did a thing!!!
Im SO BAD at planning what i want to cook during the week - so my hope is this helps!
This print is now on my Kofi! There's a bit of a discount due to the misprint - but the print is laminated so you can write with dry erase marker and reuse it week after week!

new kink tools at feedism.neocities.org!
hey all! we've got some new stuff for you to play with over at feedism.neocities.org!
🫙feedism kink jar filler - @soft-sappho made us our very own interactive kink jar filler, inspired by dollmakers and other interactive tools on the old web. she's worked real hard to make it as comprehensive as possible! simply click to fill the jars! choose between eight different fill states, and download it as an image at the click of a button! go check it out!
📏weight & measures tracker printout - I designed a printable sheet for keeping track of a variety of measurements that might change as you gain. there are boxes weight, measurements (with a model to refer to), BMI, heartrate, blood pressure, body fat (using calipers), and a little note section at the bottom. low ink versions are available too! go check it out!
there's also a few more decorations around, and some little tweaks to a few pages! more on the way soon!
The whole site is pretty sick and I highly recommend checking it out
