the idea that it’s ‘creepy’ to interact with things posted a long time ago is so terrible for artists and contributes to the pressure to be constantly creating new work, at an unhealthy and unsustainable rate. I hate it so much.

The idea that it’s “creepy” to interact with an artist’s old work from a while back is especially stupid since we have entire buildings filled with the old works of various artists for the explicit purpose of creating public interaction with them, and they’re called museums.

So, I recently “lost my virginity” and a lot of things became clear not only to what is lacking in the sexual education that we grow up (or not) having, but in what means to be a woman. It’s been an experience somewhat bittersweet, it still kinda weirds me out how in order to start having more pleasure (or not, remember not everybody enjoys penetrating sex), we have to suffer.

What do I mean by this?

Well, for starters, I think mostly everybody feels some type of pain when they have penetrative sex for the first time, not everybody bleeds but I always thought the bleeding stopped after that session and as it turns out I was wrong, it keeps on and can keep on for 5 days…

Not only this but you feel pain, not like sore muscles, but real pain in your uterus and behind your back, just like the cramps you might have on your period.

This has made me super frustrated, because I was never told that you could experience this pain afterwards and for so long, it’s been eye opening to once again realise just how much pain a woman has to endure throughout her life and the changes in it…
