Something about Wilson fighting so hard for everyone else but when it comes to his own life he gives up after one singular attempt to survive a little longer. Something about Wilson knowing what his patients endure and begging House not to put him through death in a hospital. Something about Wilson running away with House knowing that he won't have much time left. Something about Wilson considering suffering through chemo for House because they had a nice dinner together. Something about Wilson begging House to tell him that he loves him. Something about Wilson forcing House to accept his choice for the first time in their relationship since the very beginning. Something about Wilson ranting at House's funeral that the only time he needed House, he wasn't there. Something about Wilson absolutely beaming at the sight of his best friend alive, sitting on the steps right in front of him, and being hit with the utterly soul crushing realization that House threw everything away for him and only him. Something about Wilson beginning to ask House "When the cancer gets bad..." and smiling at House's response of "Cancer's boring." Something about Wilson and House living a soft life of domesticity in their last few months together. Something about Wilson knowing that they could have had this for years prior. Something about Wilson knowing they never would have if he weren't dying.
