hey a local town actually did this!

they planted berries, root vegetables, leafy greens, herbs, all sorts. they label each plant and the sign said "free to take, leave some for others to enjoy!"

and people did. they took a bit, but left some for others.

it also fed the homeless people living around there.

bearing in mind this is a tourist town, so i half expected to see the plants gone. but nope, there's always some left.

This looks like the form of a big bad wolf prototype and seems to be a rather anthropomorphic design, too. I don’t know how much I can vamp on this post, but I’ll say this is furrybait and easily move on. It’s a really good design in general.

think it is a good time to bring up the fact that the police in the united states of america are not legally required to protect people. that is straight up not part of their job.

furthermore, the united states police system was created largely out of runaway slave roundup patrols, they never existed to protect people, they were created to protect “property rights.”

They do not and have not ever existed to help keep folks safe. That is quite literally not even in their constitutional job description.

brushing riots off as senseless violence and refusing to listen to black people and activists about the situation makes you inherently racist actually. presenting yourself as woke or progressive or non-racist while actively talking over and/or ignoring poc is inherently racist. refusing to try to understand why people are reacting the way they are and going into your internet echo chamber of other fake-woke white people,,,,,,,,, like the list goes on & on. if you're not gonna try to listen to black people or understand why people are doing what they're doing, you need to stop pretending you care about black people and black lives

this is the right response. this is what i wish more people understood. riots aren't pleasant for anyone, and they're not supposed to be. but if people feel that's the only way they will get justice or attention for a cause, it's inevitable.

It is our duty as citizens of this country to not only raise awareness in any means possible, but take action against positions of power shrouded in institutionalized racism. Join me in demanding justice from Attorney Michael Freeman–the four officers involved in Floyd’s death can not walk free.

Hey, not all strikes end after 1 day, in case that wasn’t clear. Ideally all strikes should last as long as it takes to get the workers’ demands met
