Okok, I’m going to try and just spill my love for this in a semi understandable way so here we go
First off, I’m so glad people are actually acknowledging Donnie’s feelings and actually rolling with them! This fic gives him so much character development through the simplest ways (how he reacts when his work is interrupted, his almost chaotic like presentation about his new inventions that are things they already have, etc.) Also, I relate to Donnie so much when he jumps right back into his work after taking the world’s shortest break. You can tell something isn’t right, but his solution is to just keep going until something changes; it’s basically insanity, which is very ironic for the genius inventor. Plus, you can tell that he feels ostracized from his brothers even when they try to include him and care for him. The way he lashes out at Mikey because there’s no way for him to understand his struggle and then immediately gets shocked when Miley does understand is such a lovely and subtle scene.
SPEAKING OF MIKEY, WHAT A LOVELY BOY!! While the other bros try to let Donnie handle the situation in his own way, Mikey clearly shows his hesitation on letting the situation go on. The minute April gives her opinion on Donnie’s problem, you can see the lightbulb go off in Mikey’s head, his creative brain already working on a solution. And instead of just being blunt or demanding with Donnie, he’s just patient and understanding because he knows how it feels to be mentally blocked. I almost teared up when Mikey confronted Donnie because the way he handled the situation made me so happy because he was making sure Donnie felt comfortable and willing to listen to him. It was just a good feeling.
The activities were honestly so cute and helpful! Showing an alternative to coffee, giving Donnie an outlet for his feelings, and just letting him do something fun was such a nice thing to read! And the second he was able to get out of his funk, no one told him to wait and finish relaxing; they encouraged him. And seeing their support, he decides to stay. Mikey’s excitement was such a mood and just the relationship between him and Donnie is my favorite!
I’m sure there’s a whole bunch of other stuff I want to add, but my brain is mush after getting my wisdom teeth out. But please know that I love your writing and can’t wait to read more of your work!!

Oh wrow it’s my spidersona: spider shock
He’s a shut in who’s very talented with technology and programming/hacking. He was bitten by a radioactive spider while scoping out an abandoned lab for some tech to steal. He gained the usual spider powers along with some special ones. He has an ability like Miles’ electric shock but he also can spread it to his webs, turning them into shock whips. He can also sense electricity which makes his spidey sense less powerful since it’s a lot to handle. Lastly, he can hack/fry electronics with his webs. He’s a nice guy but he’s bad at communication and isn’t the most healthy so he’s more of a stealth spider than a superhero.
