Honestly, though: The for-real reason why I bought a bag of low-grade Flintstones comic books yesterday was this #Dino cover. Very appealing cartooning. I love Wilma’s mischievous smile.

I know that I should resist the temptation to buy #comics bagged up in little #overpriced batches at the #VALUEVILLAGE . But I “caved’ yesterday and picked up a few old #Flintstones comic books.(I’m s😳 embarrassed)

 One story has Betty and Wilma joining a women’s liberation group. Barney and Fred get pretty steamed that they have to cook their own dinner! Spoiler alert! #BARNEY&FRED behave like the #CAVEMEN they are and everything reverts back to the status quo in the end. The resolution of the story undermines the idea of equality between the sexes and is uncomfortable reading in 2024. Ugh! What I did like is this one panel where #Barney says this: “THERE WILL NEVER BE AN IDIOTS LIBERATION MOVEMENT! THEY'RE ALWAYS RUNNING EVERYTHING AS IT IS ALREADY!“ … #anyways … 🫤The satirical name they went with for  @gloriasteinem
