For farmers there is no time of the year that is as electric as harvest time. A full year of growing is coming to an end and now it’s time to get paid! This was taken at somewhere around 16,000ft if I remember right. I was feeling kinda dizzy/out of it.... I had never experienced any type of altitude sickness before this moment. Gave me a new appreciation for all the badass mountaineers who run these elevations like it’s their neighborhood playground. Also made me realize what a wimp i am. Today I was reminded how much I love/miss shooting film. This is a happy accident from a roll I shot on the Olympic Peninsula last week. Two 35mm frames seamlessly blend together to great a panoramic frame that I can’t wait to blow up and print. #shootfilm #happyaccident (at Olympic National Park)

This image was shot for @visitcatalinaisland. Had some great help on this one with super drone pilot @rudy.le operating his @freeflysystems Alta 8. We flew my Canon 5D mark iv to ensure we got the quality we wanted out of the file. Then shot this aerial in different pieces so I could build out a nice wide Pano and maintain a great deal of detail within the image. Pretty stoked with the outcome! I had arrived to “location” 1.5 hours early. I wandered around this farmers property during blue hour and scouted out what I was hoping would be an epic sunrise shot....... The roosters hadn’t begun to crow, the cows were still fast asleep and the only sound I could hear was the buzzing of a light-post hovering over an old Chevy truck. I’m sure this is the photograph I knew I never knew I wanted.
