RIP Gustav Metzger
Summer
After three wonderful and stimulating years I graduated this summer in BA (Hons.) IDA and was kindly asked to give a student speech at the graduation ceremony, which I delivered somehow stammeringly yet confidently.
Since early July I have been interning at Takram London, working on some very exciting (and entertaining) projects for the London Design Festival. Let’s have some Sake at the opening.
In two weeks I will be going to Casa Jasmina in Turin, developing my RFID table. This time without the fictional start-up narrative around it.
And 29 September I will be speaking at the Material Others and Other Materialities Symposium at the Iklectik Arts Lab in London, speculating about how Vilém Flusser would have approached the rise of chat bots and virtual assistants.
Otherwise, quite a few people leave London and travel around. Some stay. Looking forward to get a bit around as well. Also, Frank Ocean dropped an album.
