Blue Veins
When I was surrounded by the world You were the only one who came And you were the only one astounded Which kept me grounded As the other girls trashed my very name Then I looked over Just in time to see you smiling back at me And saying everything's OK As long as you're inside my blue veins Your blue veins Yeah and the feeling that you gave me No matter what I do or where I go It always will remain And those who would enslave me to get to me must get past you and will have no luck Cause you'll protect me from all pain The most beautiful, yeah the most beautiful thing cause anything else can't compare Must be the blood that's running through your blue veins Your blue veins Your blue veins And I know you won't deceive me Like the rest and there's nothing you need to explain You always were the first one to believe me When I said to you girl I think it's gonna rain But I could be wrong Yeah but all of these things All these things They're all truly nice but ain't nothing Ain't nothing compared to the love that's running through your little blue veins Your blue veins

A lifetime is a moment.
I'm currently on a train listening to some beautiful music and having a think about an array of self centred things. I thought I'd write down what I've just been discussing with myself in my head. A lot of the time, people are asked "what do you look for in a girl/boy". The answers are different but often predictable. Hair colour, fashion sense, big/small boobs/penis, good in bed, sensitive, funny, rich, polite, exciting, etc etc etc. Its all the same. For me, I've never been able to answer this so simplistic that I've been able to pigeon hole the traits I look for in a girl. I start with hair colour and by the end of my answer, I've started explaining how I would meet her at a party and she stands out but isn't actually doing anything to cause her to stand out, she simply has a sense of superiority without actually having the arrogance to know she is beautiful, thus creating a stunning modesty, rarely found in girls so beautiful.....would you believe that I am picky with girls? But as I sit here listening to these beautiful songs, performed by some of my favourite musicians, I have thought of one quality that I'd love in a girl. A great taste for music is essential. I have never been with a girl who shares the same taste for music that I have. I cannot tolerate bad music taste. So where this is important, I would marry the woman who could tick this one box for me. The box is not to share the same love of the same musicians. I want a girl who could sit in a house with me and we could make music together. Ability wouldn't be important. If she was tone death but truly loved singing, we could sit and sing together, playing songs, making music and shunning modern distractions such as TV and internet. We could sit listening to albums, singing along together. It would be beautiful. I have romanticised over this on many occasions. If she's out there, I'll find her.
