Last resort is to get a divorce so my student loan payments will go down

I was a single mom going back to school while working two jobs and raising a 4 year old. I did it! I achieved my Degree in Criminal Justice. I had no idea  how insane the cost of going to school online was. I now owe $57,000. I am happily married with 2 amazing boys and we can't pay our mortgage and my student loans. I have called the Loan department daily and asked if they could take smaller payments and they said I would have to file Separately on my taxes. So we tried that and we both will end up owing the Federal Government money at the end of each year, which puts us in a deeper hole.

Our only last resort is to get a divorce so my student loan payments will go down. I know this seems crazy but when you have to chose to make a mortgage payment or your Student Loan payment it doesn't seem all that crazy.  To add to that stress our youngest son was just diagnosed with Autism and we need to pay for his therapy out of pocket until Insurance kicks in at $10,000. We can't afford it all. I am begging from the bottom of my heart if anyone can help please! I do not want to have to resort to Divorce.

Treatment for Meeso

Part of Meeso's intestines are fused together causing him to vomit often. Right now he's in the hospital getting IV therapy but he might need surgery to remove part of his intestine so that he can digest food. This fundraiser is to continue hospital therapy and raise funds for the surgery.

Our precious shih-tzu needs a tumor removed as soon as possible. Can you help?

Hello, this is Charlie.  He is a 10 year old Shih-Tzu and a big part of our family.  He's attached to my hip and when times are bad, all I have to do is look at him and pet him and I feel a little better.  He is devoted, loving, happy, energetic, personable, and very special me.  

I found a lump near his groin and brought Charlie to the veterinarian.  They collected some tissue and there are elongated cells which are a cause for concern.  The tumor is also harder than they would like to see.

This comes at a very bad time as my husband lost his job in July, secured  new one in August but took ill in September.  We exhausted all available funds while he was out of work and have nothing available right now.

Help The Humane Society of North Miami Recover Vandalized Vans

Eight transportation vehicles owned by the Humane Society of Greater Miami were vandalized right in the shelter's own parking lot and has now left them struggling to perform everyday activities. 

These vans are used to transport sick animals to hospitals for emergency care, several adoption locations and bring food to the shelter from a warehouse. Repairing the vans are not in the shelter's budget and is expected to cost thousands of dollars. 

According to Laurie Hoffman, executive director, "we are utterly devastated about what has happened and cannot understand why someone would destroy property that is not theirs, especially when the property is used to help the lives of animals in need daily." 

The organization has said this will make it difficult to resume their daily activities and will be a financial burden, since this will cost thousands of dollars to repair and is not in their budget.

They are hoping for a little help with security deposit to rent a dwelling that is safe for their children.

Support for Firefighters in California

We are raising funds for the firefighters that are risking their lives in fighting the California Rocky Fire of 2015.

Over 10,000 firefighters from 31 states, have come together to put out the California ROCKY FIRE of 2015.  These fires have been burning for weeks and have rampaged across almost 105 square miles. Gov. Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency to help gather additional firefighting resources.  These firefighters are risking their lives everyday using engines, air tankers and helicopters to battle the fire. Wildfires are costly and expensive to fight.

In the wake of a fire or disaster, people are injured, homes and families are destroyed and lives are changed forever. The firefighters know first hand the pain and suffering that can be caused in an instant. All donations will be given directly to fire stations in their operating districts.

The California ROCKY FIRE of 2015 has affected thousands of lives by having to evacuate from their homes. There are more than 13,000 northern Californians that have been told to evacuate. This is the worst fire in California, so far, this year with more than 70,000 acres being burned. Firefighters in Northern California spent a lot of time putting out hot spots along a scenic highway and dropping water from helicopters deep inside one of the raging wildfires. A state of emergency has been declared.

Let's show support for the firefighters that have been working so hard under dangerous conditions and thank them for all of their hard work they have done to save people's lives and put out the fire in California.
