I like fighter subclasses too much. That’s it, that’s the post.

Anyway, this is... a lot. Obviously it’s heavily inspired by Tom Parkinson Morgan’s KILL SIX BILLION DEMONS, but it’s also me trying to push how complex I can make these bad boys. I wanted to make something with a lot of choices, both in combat and leveling up. This has not been playtested, so I don’t know if the techniques are quite balanced against each other. If you use this in a game, feel free to shoot me some feedback.

Like the other Ranger Archetypes, the Sniper grants a bonus to damage at third level. The bonus here is greater than the other archetypes, but is more difficult to activate and can leave the Ranger vulnerable and static in combat. Also, it only activates on the Attack action, so don’t try to get cute with Crossbow Expert.

Wield the dark powers of the Outsider and reclaim your honor! This is pretty obviously inspired by Dishonored. There are two 1/3rd caster subclasses, but those are both 1/3rd wizards, so I thought it’d be interesting to do a 1/3rd warlock subclass.

Are you sick of the Fiend being the only Patron with fireball? Try the Phoenix, a dedicated blaster Patron! Perfect for a character seeking to rise from a metaphorical death or great defeat. As the warlock spell list doesn’t include any cool high-level spells, the following invocation adds some.

This invocation also adds a feature that was originally part of Sunbird’s Blessing that I cut to make it less bloated.

Directly inspired by Terry Pratchett’s Sourcery. Like Coin, characters who choose this subclass can bolster the magic of those around them. An arcane caster that acts as support for other casters!
