raph has a lot of stuffies, but his favorite plushie is a lion that splinter gave him for his 3rd birthday

its still his favorite. he named it lou <3

donnie had a weak immune system, he was the easiest to get sick as a tot

mikey, being the youngest, threw the most tantrums. leo ran a close second, though

i mentioned this in a few fics but leo was the last to speak, his first words were at 6

leo always had terrible hearing, which is why he never spoke much as a kid

mikey first learned to cook through watching splinter, but raphie taught him as well via hands-on

april met the turtles when she was 11 on a basketball court. she freaked out at first, then asked to join their pickup game

mikey gave up his pacifier much later than his brothers. he held onto it until he was 5

donnie’s first invention was for leo: a pair of janky earbuds transformed into hearing aids

mikey had a childhood blankie

he still sleeps with it and carries it around

leo’s favorite childhood plushie is a limited edition jupiter jim stuffie he got from splinter for christmas once

he never takes it out of his room but theres TONS of blackmail photos that donnie has of him w/ it

donnie & mikey got really into wings of fire as kids. their oc lore is insane

they dont really interact w it much anymore but mikey still gets the graphic novels

raph read “the one & only ivan” at 10 and literally clung to his siblings for months after

i just know that leo & raph LOVED wonder pets

leo watched doc mcstuffins. argue w/ the wall

all the boys grew up on don bluth movies

specifically the land before time series, all dogs go to heaven, & american tail

donnie hated junie b jones books. leo read them aloud just to piss him off (he also hated them tho </3)

they loved babymouse & dogman tho

raph & mikey watched bear in the big blue house as kiddos

raph still cries when hearing the goodbye song that the moon sung

leo had a huge obsession w peter rabbit as a kid to the point that he begged splinter for a jean jacket to match him
