Hello! I'm Hana, she/they, and I am situated in Kalos and, if you could not guess, I work very closely with lycanroc as I am a musher and the above lycans are my ever reliable team

I participate in a number of snow sports and my team often gets to assist in different types of snowy activities around the area

every day i think about the moderator of a beginner trainer forum back in the day who kept giving people blatantly wrong advice about appropriate ages and times to train and evolve certain pokemon until people from another forum doxxed a bunch of members of the first forum for unrelated reasons and ended up finding out the moderator giving bad advice was a team plasma member deliberately spreading misinformation.

like im talking so wrong that the advice most certainly lead to many young trainer's pokemon developing bad temperaments and behaviors, lifelong disabilities, and some even fucking dying because they developed wrong. the fact this guy was trying to get this to happen on purpose to help plasma have examples proving that people only harm pokemon is crazy. just goes to show you can't believe everything on the internet i guess.

I would love to post goofy photos of my lycanroc however they can sense when I open the camera app and stop what they are doing to either avoid their photo being taken at all cost or to stare at me in a pose that was not the silly pose I was trying to take a photo of

Lycanroc Hana, who has 12 lycanroc, is an outlier and should not be counted

Never rely on a lycanroc for anything because I just had a coughing fit cause water went down the wrong tube and the only help I got was a lycanroc torpedoing into my abdomen which did not help the coughing fit

How different is the domestic breed of Lycanroc compared to their wild counterparts temperament wise? Do they still get aggressive as Rockruff when they’re close to evolving or has that been bred out? Do they make good pets compared to other canine Pokémon?

I mean it depends on the domestic breed and the individual lycanroc, like with my lycanroc there is not much difference because they were bred for stamina and endurance rather than any sort of temperament

Yes, the aggression rockruff experiences can't really be bred out because that is rockruff reacting to the fact it is about to evolve. It's like growing pains, they're going through it again so they get antsy and want to start throwing around their weight and test what they can do, so your best option is to up until that point be on top of training because they'll be more likely to listen still once their in their in this phase + increase their enrichment + battle with them more often + put an airtag in on a collar on them just in case they decide to dart off

Lycanroc are pretty okay pokemon to keep depending on their evolution (midday being the easiest) however lycanroc, even domestic ones, have a closer connection to their instincts than other domestic pokemon who have been being domesticated for much longer, they are also very active pokemon and need consistent exercise and enrichment. Rockruff are actually one of the most likely to be abandoned canine pokemon because while they can be very affectionate they are also very difficult to raise

And that isn't even to mention that the rockruff could evolve into a lycanroc form that the individual either was not prepared for or wanted or capable of caring for

Why do your Lycanroc look so different than the standard coloration? I’m assuming they were captive bred? I didn’t know there were so many color morphs for Lycanroc.

That's because my lycanroc are a breed of lycanroc that went through domestication and where my lycanroc are at is the stopping point for that breed, because if it kept going then they would risk splitting off from lycanroc as a species which was not the goal

The way so many colors morphs was introduced to this bred was through the use of other lovely canine pokemon and *their* breeds

I'm sure if I start tracing back on let's say Pear's lineage far enough back I may find a herdier or two

And due to the fact that this breed are not wild, they run no risk of dying young because they can't blend in to their surroundings as pups or when hunting so the coats and their genetics kept getting passed on

And I will say, several of my lycanrocs coats due occur in the wild as well with no human interference, there are plenty of grey and black lycanroc
