night blooming jasmine (nyctanthes arbor-tristis) 🌟🌛
the work is inspired by a folktale about the parijata tree. there was once a princess called Parijat, she fell in love with the sun god Surya. Surya didn’t return her love, and in despair Parijat became the night blooming jasmine tree. the flowers bloom in the night, and in the day when the sunlight touches them, they fall to the ground.

Chedda of Tlemcen
A traditional Algerian dress, more precisely of the city of Tlemcen, but also worn in the west of the country. The chedda consists of a traditional kaftan of velvet and gold thread, decorated with cultured pearls, and necklaces that fall from the temples. Huge earrings hang from a conical cap embroidered with gold thread and placed on the head. The conical cap is knotted with a scarf with seven to nine diadems.

Miss Grand Uzbekistan 2023 National Costume
The Semurg (Humo) Bird of Uzbekistan: Inspiring a National Costume The Semurg, also known as Humo, is a legendary creature deeply ingrained in Uzbekistan's folklore and symbolism. The Semurg bird is a mythical creature often associated with wisdom, protection, and good fortune. It is believed to possess divine knowledge and is a symbol of purity and spirituality. The vibrant colors seen in Uzbek national costumes are reminiscent of the Semurg's vivid plumage. Chino Christopherson the designer of my national costume focused on the mythical golden palette with touches of deep and vivid greens, symbolizing the Semurg's elegance and regal presence.
