The same room?! Shindou put his bags gently on the floor, and pulled out a neatly-folded slip with his rooming arrangements written down. He took the crumpled paper being waved in front of his face by his junior in order to compare the two directly.
Upon unfolding his own slip, he noticed that indeed, as Tenma had said, the room listing was the same; 10.01 was written on both of their papers.
"You’re being serious!" he laughed as he returned Tenma’s paper. He folded his own and placed it safely back in his pocket. "At least we won’t have to worry about not getting along with our roommates."
It wasn’t really something to admit, but Shindou was decidedly excited about rooming with Tenma. They knew each other well, got along almost perfectly, and this arrangement would make it easy for them to talk after classes (which they most likely wouldn’t spend together, since they were in different grades).
”Let’s go and find our room, then.” Shindou smiled, and picked up his bags before beginning to walk towards the dorms.
He watched in amusement as Shindou's face of disbelief turned into a delightful expression. Something fluttered in his chest at the thought that the other was just as glad as he was at the idea of rooming together. It would have been kind of awkward if he was the only one excited...
Keeping his own paper safe in his pocket, Tenma nodded his head. "That's right, I was kind of worried who I would be rooming with," he admitted.
"But I'm really glad it's you, Shindou-san!" otherwise it'd be kind of hard to meet him. For all Tenma knew, they could drift apart from each other in this new school and the idea scared him. With the fact that they were now roommates, the brunet found himself at ease knowing that they would definitely still be friends here despite being in different grades.
"Alright, to our room it is!" he agreed and followed Shindou from behind, a tiny bounce in his steps.
The adult looked at the items the student had brought for his living at the school and his thoughts quickly focused on something else. He didn’t care much for such little rule breaks other than sattisfying his ego - Fudou expected good students to break the rules and get away with it.
"None." he once again kept the reply short, gathering his thoughts to focus on the child again. The brunette gave Tenma a sharp look, "I’m coaching weekend trainings. But other then that, I’m sitting in the head office doing paperwork. I’m the vice-principal." the corners of his mouth turned up and his expression changed into a rather uneasing smirk. He knew that his last sentence was the answer the boy had been looking for to begin with, but Fudou loved playing around with people.
The short reply at first confused Tenma--the adult was being subtle with his position here and it made the teenager wonder. It was only after the sharp look and the confession of his true status at the school that Tenma was blown away.
He let a gasp escape his mouth--the news was far from what he had expected. To hold such a high position at Fudou's age in this prestigious school, the adult must be an unexpectedly incredible person.
"Wow, that's great!" the brunet cheered with a smile, relieved to know that someone he was fairly acquainted with was in charge of the school. A normal kid would think that perhaps if they did something wrong and got caught, they'd be let off with just a warning because the man behind the desk knew them. But Tenma didn't think that. He was simply glad the school wasn't run by someone suspicious--even if Fudou-san was just the vice-principal. "I'll be under your care then, Fudou-san,"

Aphrodi glanced around, waiting to talk to someone he knew. All the other kids around him seemed to know each other. Are they all from the same school? he wondered. Frustrated, he decided he had to know the other kids, even if they were just humans. After all, they might become his future teammates.
He sauntered over to the nicest-looking kid of the bunch. The boy had brown hair and large blue eyes; he was talking excitedly to another brown-haired boy. The second boy waved and walked away to converse with someone else.
"Hey," Aphrodi called to the boy.
Tenma had just been waving farewell to Shindou when an almost recognizable voice greeted him from behind. He turned around and saw another teenager--roughly his age, by the looks of it. Somehow the other's appearance rang a bell in his mind, but the brunet couldn't figure out why.
"Ah," he put on a smile for the stranger. "Hello. Can I help you with something?"
He doubted that the blond needed any help--but it was a better question than nothing. The other looked far from lost and was possibly even one of the new students here, like him, so even if the other did need some help, his capabilities would be limited unless it involved physical exertion.
Or perhaps, the teenager was in search of a new friend?

"I’d like that a lot!"
She smiled at him for a moment, before remembering something else, “Oh! Have you gotten used to the school yet? I still get lost!”
He nodded his head. Seeing her here, he wondered to himself if anybody else from Chrono Storm was here too--it wasn't impossible. In fact, the idea leaned more towards the possible scale. He'd either have to wait until classes start to meet the rest, during practice or cross paths with them in the dorms.
Tenma found his smile turning into an awkward one at her question. "It's sad to say that so far I only know where the dorms are, actually..." judging from the size of the school compound, it'll take him at least a week to know where everything was--if he was lucky.
Just as Kyousuke was beginning to think he wouldn’t see anyone else familiar for a while, he heard his name called from two different people behind him. At first he thought maybe he was just hearing things, but he could hear footsteps get closer as well. So, he turned around and his eyebrows raised in slight surprise at seeing two of his teammates running towards him at full speed.
As the two stopped in front of him, his expression of surprise was replaced with a pleased smile, and he rested a hand on his hip as he spoke.
"So you two were invited here as well." He couldn’t hide the fact that he was relieved to see those two there. After all, they made things a lot more interesting when they were around.
He didn't mean to pull Shindou so abruptly and drag the other along with him--but the sight of his favourite striker made him act on impulse without thinking twice of the consequences.
The senior managed to follow his pace though and soon enough Tsurugi noticed them coming, looking pleased by the time they stopped in front of him.
"The same could be said to you...!" cheekily, the brunet replied to Tsurugi's comment. He hadn't let go of Shindou yet though--it seemed that he had completely forgotten about their linked arms.
That was beside the point, for the trio was complete, and so soon too. Tenma thought he'd have to wait for at least a while longer to see one of his teammates again. But then Shindou approached him and then they walked upon Tsurugi--it was amazing.
Quickly analyzing his friend's bagless state and map in hand, a question popped out of his mouth.
"Have you been to the dorms already? Shindou-san and I just arrived and we're kind of... lost..." the brunet trailed off, a little embarrassed to say the least.
woah there! hahaha time flies when youre having fun i'll continue with replies tomorrow hopefully uvu goodnight everyone in ssi
Kyousuke’s been in this new school for a day already, and he’s only met one other student here so far; His roommate. He spent his first day unpacking and wandering around to find classrooms, but the area was quite big.. it was going to take him a while to get used to it…
Which is what he decides to do today. With a small map of the school in hand, he wanders around the school a few times, trying his hardest to memorize the directions. And he was also hoping to bump into a few of the other students here, as well…. at least to get an idea of what kinds of people have been invited to this place besides him.
He walked a step behind Shindou, since the elder was leading the way anyway. Inside, he felt like he was a bottle of diet cola that someone shook and was ready to burst the minute you uncap it. Was he excited? Very. Why wouldn't he be?
Almost jumping with every step he took, in the corner of his eyes, something familiar and peculiar caught his attention. His mouth--which had just a small smile earlier--broke into a wide grin and he grabbed onto Shindou's arm.
"Look, I think that's Tsurugi!" he exclaimed.
And took off into the striker's direction, dragging the senior with him.

She shrugged, “It’ll be fine, I think. Besides, I’m really happy that I’ll be able to play soccer with everyone again!”
What was he so uptight about? Chuckling at his silliness, he said, "You're right. I'm sorry for my outburst there," he sure did miss playing soccer with her--he missed playing soccer with a lot of people.
What was the worst that could happen? Whoever was the principal of this school had to have things under control right? Of course they'd know what they were doing. They wouldn't risk endangering their students, they wouldn't.
Mustering up enthusiasm, he grinned and said, "Same here! I can't wait till we can play soccer again, Kinako--maybe we can even be teammates once more,"
"So this is the school captain and Tsurugi was talking about." Ibuki stood in front of the School of Soccer International with his bag over his shoulder as it towered over him. He had heard about this school from Matsukaze Tenma who said "It’s meant to be the best in the world." Teaching its students all that is need to be learned about soccer. “If what captain and Tsurugi said was true then this school should help me to improve my physical strength… then no one will look down on me.”
He was doing the next thing he opted to do, look around and memorize what every building consisted of--landmarks, names and the lot. He wouldn't want to get lost again, that was for sure.
As Tenma neared what he recognized as the gates he had walked through not so long ago, he saw a particularly tall figure standing there and admiring the school's main building. From taking a few steps closer, Tenma recognized the figure and jogged towards him, face smiling as he did.
"Ibuki!" he called out, hoping he was able to attract the other's attention. He couldn't believe it--did Ibuki really listened to his suggestion of transferring into SSI? If he did, then that's great! But if he was only here to visit--which was highly unlikely--that was okay too.
He stopped himself close enough to see the bag the other was holding. He was right, Ibuki was now a student of SSI!

She grinned, doing her trademark almost-salute.
"Nope! I’m a student here too!" She giggled good naturedly at his shocked expression, "Don’t you know? SSI is one of the best schools for soccer, and they accept all sorts of students!"
He blinked once. He blinked again. Was his ears broken? Or was she playing with him? Tenma didn't know which one was more likely.
"EEEH?!"
Kinako, a student here? All sorts of students? Hold it, hold it! This was confusing for him, what did she mean by all sorts of students? How was it possible to defy the laws of time without altering the timeline, history, and endanger humanity?!
"But... But you're from the future! If you're studying here, in this time, then wouldn't...?" he trailed off, unsure of how to word his thoughts. Surely there was a reasonable explanation for all of this, right? Things would work out somehow, yeah!

"Hello!" Kinako smiled brightly, jogging up to the other student, "Nice to see you!"
Someone greeted from behind and he turned around. At first, he wasn't sure if he had fallen into a dream or if he was hallucinating--but this girl in front of him, she couldn't possibly be...!
"K-Kinako?!" Tenma gasped, not bothering to cover up his shock at all. What was the child version of his friend-from-the-future's mother doing here?! No logical reason could come to pull him through this.
Unintentionally ignoring her bright greeting, he brought a hand up to the back of his head and pointed at her, still not understanding how she could be here.
"A-Are you here for a visit...?" carefully, he asked.
The adult placed his hands in the pockets of his jacket and watched the nervous wreck get off the grass. It was rather amusing to watch the boy act like a frightened deer just because of such a mistake.
However, Fudou kept a straight face and stepped closer to the student.
"Just don’t do it again." he scolded the student. He knew this boy, but Fudou didn’t quite remember the name. It was one of the new Raimons, Matsukaze something.
At the question however, the chairman slightly smirked. “You could say so.” he replied shortly.
"Yes, sir," Tenma adjusted himself, realizing that he had made a bad first impression during his first day at his new school. Mentally he made a note for himself to be on his best behaviour--not that discipline was a problem for him in the first place, but it was better to be safe than sorry. He wouldn't want to get on any of the coaches bad side.
The elusive response the adult gave him made him tilt his head. "What class should I be expecting to see you take care of?" he asked, notably curious. He couldn't rake his brain to remember any of Fudou-san's noticeable or special skills other than being Inazuma Japan's trump card back in the days. So he wondered what the adult would be teaching here. Perhaps a tactic-based class?
Hearing the happiness in Tenma’s voice felt reassuring to Shindou. It was nice to know that the two of them would be in the same school, and exciting that they could end up teammates again, despite not being in the same grade.
Before thinking about classes and practice, though, it seemed obvious that they should search for the dorms. The two would be staying in the same area, but it would be nice if their rooms were close, too. That way, it wouldn’t matter too much if they didn’t get along very well with their roommates.
"I’ve actually just arrived myself, but I think I know the way. We can walk there together, if you like.” he asked, gesturing in the general direction of the boys’ dormitory building.
"We’ll definitely be in the same building, but which room were you assigned? I’ll be in 10.01."
So it appeared his senior had just arrived as well. But he seemed to have a better knowledge of the school's layout, unlike Tenma. "Sounds like a plan," he nodded his head in agreement--it's better to be lost with company rather than by himself.
10.01. The numbers seemed familiar to him, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Could it possibly be...? "Ah, I can't remember. Let me check it again," the brunet dug his hand into his pants' pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. Unfolding it, he found himself grinning again and waved the note in his senior's face, slightly laughing. "Room 10.01! Shindou-san, we're roommates!"
He had been wondering if he would be roommates with complete strangers or people he knew. But the very news of--not only being in the same school and possibly the same team as Shindou-san again--sharing a room with him rendered Tenma ecstatic!
Shindou wasn’t surprised to see Tenma. This was a school for soccer, after all. And almost everyone knows that where you find soccer, you find Tenma (although not usually looking quite as lost as he seemed to today).
He caught up to Tenma and slowed his pace to match the younger boy’s, walking alongside him. Shindou wasn’t sure how much he could help with directions, since he had just arrived at the school himself, but there was definitely no harm in greeting his teammate. If neither of them knew anywhere to go, at least they could look around together.
"Tenma! You got accepted." he commented with a smile. "Are you looking for the dorms?"
In the middle of his pondering on what to do with his sense of direction, he felt a presence by his side and turned his head. Tenma beamed immediately at the sight of his senior, not expecting to see him--or anybody else--so soon and he let his heart lift.
"Shindou-san!" he greeted with much enthusiasm, not hiding the shock nor delight in his voice. With a slight shrug and nod, he said, "I did! I see you got accepted too,"
Seeing as it was no use trying to slither himself out of the embarrassment, he might as well come out clean. He wasn't a fan of lying anyway, especially to someone he looked up to. Plus, it didn't hurt to ask for a little bit of help, right?
"I am... but I find myself lost. Do you think you can show me the way?"
"Oi! Off of the lawn!" a voice shouted from not too afar.
Not like the vice-principal really cared for the lawn itself, he just took every opportunity to command people around a little and make them follow his rules - even if they were as ridiculous as not walking around on the grass. And mind that, the school’s rules were also Fudou’s rules, it was certainly satisfying him to have so much control.
Fudou might not be a Heaven-sent angel or anything close to it, but at least he was a person knowing the buildings.
Tenma visibly jumped at the sudden shout. Had he really been walking on the lawn? Looking down at his feet, he bit his lip. He was so nervous from being lost and all, he didn't bother to look at what his feet were stepping on.
"I-I'm so sorry!" he stammered and jumped off the lawn, almost tripping over his own bag. First he was lost, and now he was in trouble with--wait, who was it that yelled at him in the first place?
Turning around, Tenma recognized the brown hair and tacky pants almost immediately--Fudou-san!
A smile slapped onto his face almost immediately, it was a relief to see someone he knew, even just barely. "I'm really sorry about that, Fudou-san," he repeated and slightly lowered his head before straightening himself again. "Are you a teacher here?"
