Zdeněk Koubek was an intersex trans man Czechoslovakian track athlete.

He was born in 1913 and competed in the 1934 olympics, winning a gold medal in the women’s 800m and a bronze medal in the women’s long jump. He came out in 1935 and underwent gender affirming surgery.

Later, his records in women’s athletics were canceled, and unfortunately he was part of the reason why olympians whose sex was called into question must undergo a medical examination.
