After many many years of owning Midnight I am finally working on his original family that got left to the wayside once I started writing Illex... starting with some new additions! Meet Quilten, the new oldest sibling [designed by @beastwhimsy] and Rosemary, Midnight's twin sister [designed by my boyfriend]! some info about em below :]

Quilten is essentially a student of magic but under the loose guidance of Luna, they study and document the new state of Equestria after Celestia's "death" and the extension of the night; more specifically the mental effects it has had on ponies and the slow rise of moon-based practices. They themself partake in these practices for "scientific purposes" which loosely translates to "it's cool as hell I wanna try". The crest on their horn is a decorative piece that makes their magic form into an orb. Because it looks cool. The waviness and curliness of their hair is a side affect of the kinds of magic they use

Rosemary is a blank flank that spends all of her time at home either caring for Midnight or writing. She lived a pretty boring childhood of routine and has never broken out of it resulting in her not yet finding her talent and lacking a cutiemark. Pretty much every other member of the family is constantly away from the house [Midnight works first aid and patrols the everfree forest, Moonlight is a mailpony, Wrenchgear is part of the royal guard, Nitro is away for education, Vincent cares for animals] so she takes it upon herself to care for the home and surrounding area

The anatomy of mythics not lining up with their evolution was BOTHERING me. So I unhorsed my horses :) used Philly as the test run to see how much I liked the anatomy change
