JFC. I mean, the part where Sasuke has a flashback of poking Sakura on the forehead was beautiful, and all the Sakura missing Sasuke scenes were nice too. But the whole point of this arc was for Sasuke to finally go back to the village AND FOR SAKURA TO WELCOME HIM BACK HOME.

I feel like SP and Kishi are strategically giving us juuuuuust the right amount of SS scenes to satisfy the need but not enough to fill us completely.

Like, NH got a whole fucking movie (not against NH, I love those lovebirds as well) and SS just gets scenes every now and then, and its not even actual contact, but basically just Sakura thinking of him.

Come on. We already know they get married and have a baby. WE KNOW WHERE BABIES COME FROM. Just get to the juicy stuff already.

This arc better show us some relationship development or at least Sasuke’s development and change of heart like the actual novel.

In all honesty though, if SP wants to milk the narucow until the last drop, at least make something we REALLY want to see. Like, make a filler arc on Sakura’s pregnancy or Sarada’s birth.

Wow, if you reread part 1 of Naruto you see how all of Sasuke’s issues were handled by Sakura. Like Sasuke opened up about the night his family was killed. Sakura is the only one besides Kakashi to know about the curse seal. Sakura is the one that hugged him and saved him when their “hearts connected” in the forest of death. Sakura was the ONLY one who knew that Sasuke would leave the village. She was so intune with him that she was there waiting. And Sasuke knew when she was upset and he made sure to cheer her up at the chunnin exams. He was blunt when she needed it. Constructive. Even in his attempt to push people away he would always say something that gave away her importance. He included her, asked her opinion when getting the scrolls. No wonder Sakura was both “you don’t tell me anything” but also being so forward and presumptuous (for Japanese culture) in 181 lol
