Apparently, it was my blog's 1st birthay on the 22nd of May! 

In honor of our motto, I decided to be late even with birthday wishes to myself! i still cant get used to new gmail desing and dont check the 'social' tab

I know I haven't been posting lately, but I remember how much fun is writing the reviews. And it was a really nice thing to get into tumblr by writing my own stuff. As you know, I've got my personal blog as well, where I mainly reblog things, but this one is surely much older than the second. mieltheboss was my first ever tumblr account created, and deciding to write bleach reviews on it was a great idea! I didnt gain many followers nor likes, but hey! Every single of them was an enough reward for me. It's a completely different feeling, when people like the stuff you've created rather than stuff you liked and reblogged (although it's nice as well!).

I am not sure when, but I'm going to come back to this hobby. Maybe with improved skills and  english ? :)

As Nodt vs. Rukia - review

During the time my blog was on a hiatus, what mainly happened in Bleach is As Nodt vs. Rukia fight. Of course, there were some other worth mentioning things, but to make the review clearer I’ll write only about this fight. Overloaded reviews are hard to read, right? So I thought I should separate all the stuff which happened during my absence! I’ve been writing Bleach reviews for quite a long (or maybe actually short? Tt depends on the point of view) time, so I’m improving my skills and I hope this change will make my posts better! Let’s start.

Here we have As Nodt’s power. Shooting with fear. Personally, I find this very interesting. I always like the powers which attack your mind instead of your body most. There is nothing what can be used as a shield, because fear is not a thing, it’s an emotion, and this Quincy’s power is just an embodiment of it. But

It’s said that As Nodt cannot attack Rukia when she’s dead, because fear is the emotion of living ones. Okay, even he’s explained it.

So that his power isn’t too hard to beat, it’s basically said that it attacks your brain rather than your mind. It works thanks to anatomy. If your body is dead, it can’t attack you. But aren’t all the shinigamis already dead? I really don’t like the fact how Rukia became untouchable by freezing. Well, it’d be a good solution if it was an As Nodt vs. Human fight, yes, but Rukia is itself a soul, she doesn’t have a body. At least so we think. Maybe As Nodt’s fight is trying to make us realize that shinigamis are souls but do have bodies? It’d explain why some of them (Ukitake) are ill, age etc. I like how it can explain things, but it comes out boring in a fight. Now, when I look at it again (I mean I had different emotions while reading it at first), I find it better because it actually did explain the shinigami’s body thing = fulled a gap which existence we’ve been irritated about. This is good, the only thing which irritates me is that I really wanted As Nodt to have a power which would injure your mind not in a scientific way. But what I say is so subjective. Actually, for the manga it’s better when we can scientifically explain As Nodt’s power to some point, because if we couldn’t,  it wouldn't change the fact Rukia and Byakuya would have to win against him and then their victory would be even less natural. There is one character whose power works only on your mind – Aizen – and Tite still hasn’t thought up how to beat him (or has but it’s a plan for the end of the manga/isn’t going to beat him at all).

This way of dying had much sense but didn't satisfy me. I was really happy when later we found out that As Nodt hasn’t died yet. And that there is As Nodt’s power-up awaiting us.

What is typical to mr. Kubo and what I personally love is how he shows villain’s boundaries with The Antagonist. Arrancars – Aizen (and Arrancars – Arrancars) relationships were really well shown and now he’s trying to show us Quincies – Yhwach relationships as well. They're very similar but slightly different… From what I've understood, Aizen gave Arrancars ability to be more human-like, power (thanks to which they could stop and start many activities, actually, it depends on a character), he gave them a king. And Yhwach seems to be more, like… the person who makes you feel useful? Who creates sense in your life (= fighting and dying for him)?

I can’t really say anything yet, since we don’t have much information about how did Yhwach create Vandereich (not literally 'how', more like, why did he give them such powers, etc.). It seems very interesting to me. I guess I’ll be able to study Quincies – Yhwach relationship better when the arc ends… Or at least when Quincies die and we’ll get a more readable silhouette of Yhwach’s personality.

I find it very cool how the fight lasts longer? I know it’s easy to grumble about Tite’s endless fights, but this power is interesting enough to let us know how exactly does it work. Especially when we know that there will be no possibility of As Nodt appearing again. His power seems very difficult to beat, but we have the ‘scientific’ (as for a manga) explanation of it, which means that there will be a logical way to win against him, too.

I just love how As Nodt’s power reminds of the moment when you lie in a bed in the middle of the night, can’t fall asleep and start remembering all the scary moments or even periods of your life you’ve experienced, no matter if it was yesterday or 5 years ago. It’s exactly the same thing, but much more expanded + because of conditions he creates you can’t really calm yourself down.

Pls appreciate my As Nodt being an asshole.

After rereading everything I do understand  why did As Nodt die and why it isn’t actually badly shown better, but I still dislike the power-ups of Byakuya and Rukia – I don’t like sudden power-ups, that’s all. I didn’t like the idea of Shinigamis training at Soul King’s form the very beginning and still don’t like it. I’m okay with characters showing a secret power nobody’s ever seen (e.g. Yumichika, Ulquiorra) or becoming slightly better (e.g. Rukia becoming a lieutant), but those sudden, unnatural power-ups just annoy me so much! Ugh. But I understand that I can’t have everything – I love powerful villains, and that’s what I do have in Bleach, but on the other hand I must accept unnaturally powering up characters, because they have to win against the dark side, at least sometimes.

I don’t like power-ups because of the course fights take when they happen – but I like thanks to what our characters powered up at Soul King’s. I disliked Ichigo’s fast trainings (although they seem to have much more sense now that we know what’s been inside of Ichigo for all those years) because they seemed to show us how powerful Ichigo is. Soul King’s training are easier to accept for me because of the fact, that they’re basing on Shinigami’s relationship with their zanpakutou. I may dislike seeing Rukia suddenly having bankai or Byakuya suddenly beating a very powerful Quincy only with a shikai, but I understand how it happened and I like that it’s thanks to them becoming friends with their swords. The power of friendship, isn’t it?

I find it really cute and important for the Byakuya – Rukia relationship, but if I were Kubo, I’d put these panels after Rukia kills As Nodt. So that it doesn’t spoil the mood. But I guess he’s put the dialogue here to make the ‘You have absolutely nothing to fear, Rukia’ and ‘Yeyeye I’ll kill that Quincy with a single stab’ thing more possible. You know, so it’s not like ‘Nii-san said I have nothing to fear yeye’ but like ‘Nii-san said im powerful so now I can’t show him the worse side of me right’. So yeah. Still, I’d like it to be a little later.

I don’t have to tell you how Rukia won and what did Byakuya say afterwards, do I? It was a beautiful scene, especially for her fans, but I don’t think there is anything I can comment on.

  I like how As Nodt is full of fear… It’s not only his weapon, it’s what he hates most. He's depended on it We can see how afraid he is in the short flashbacks (short and very well done – I enjoyed them much). I still don’t understand basing on what does Yhwach give people power – are there any rules, even? But I like how As Nodt used the thing he’s been afraid of most – fear – as his weapon.

And I love how his last thought is about being afraid.

Bleach 561&562 combo review

Hohoho! As a christmas present, Miel gives you late reviews! Be delighted!!!

First part: chapter 561

I haven't read such an amazing chapter in a very long time! I l o v e d it.

So, it looks like The Quincy what was his name again??? wins. He beat Kensei and this is something amazing. Our Musculed Captain was sure that he's going to win, or at least tried to act like that. But it came out that The Quincy really is a powerful enemy. 

So Kensei died. Not really, of course. Sadly, Bleach is kinda mainstream and Kensei can't really die, but if he does - it'd be soemthing amazing.

Also i love when The Quincy says 'Guess I don't even need to do the ten count.'. It's a quite cool, as for him, line and it suits his image.

OKAY OKAY MIEL DON'T FAINT MIEL 

I love Rose. He's been in my top characters since very long but... Oh god. Now. Now. God. Shut up. I'm going to stop fangirling and try to write something with sense.

So, let's focus on the screenshot I've just put here. The badassness of Rose when he kills poor James is enoromous. You can feel his pain and the coldness which was caused by Kensei's failure. He's been friends with Kensei and all the Visordes for a very long time and they've experienced much together.

Look, he's been just staying there and staring at Kensei's fight, not wanting to interrupt, but when Kensei's out he just came in all like 'lol you thought you'd seen the last of me?' . He has to feel traumatized but look - he's so calm, he knows what he has to do, what he should do. The way he says his cool line and the fact how easily he cut James is like saying 'I am the smart one, I know how to win, Kensei is kinda stupid that he didn't to the stuff I've just done'. And oh god. Lokk at how he changed in a one chapter:

he wasn't even important then! 

But it's not only Rose - James is worth being descried by me too.

In his last words he asks his master for help - it says much about their relationship. They seem to be pretty close with each other. Even if The Quincy sees only 'an innocent fan' in James and needs him only for being more self-confident and stronger, it still makes him emotionally attached to him. And James is really devoted - I like this type of characters.

SO I MAY BE A LITTLE EXCITED 

OH GOD GOD GOD IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL DRAMATIC POETIC PERFECT I COULD MAKE A SEPARATE POST TO EXPLAIN HOW MUCH DO I LOVE ROSE'S BANKAI I'M DYING GUYS HOLD ME

I don't want to screen all the pages, so I'll just mention the fact I love the way this bankai works - all the elements. It may be illusion, but at some point illusions become real - I mean, who cares that the fire and water aren't real as long ad you feel them real? That why I find this bankai a bankai of a genius. Very powerful.

I love the names of all the acts - they could be just named 'water, fire' but it's much more beautiful, typical to Rose.

Also, man, Rose looks beautiful while using his bankai, so proud and confident.

And this moment was a very critical moment for Bleach. It was one of the least mainstream moments in this manga. Let's be honest - Bleach isn't the most mainstream shonen manga, but it isn't extremely original too. Most of the unusual moments you can feel after thinking about them for a long time.

But here we have something really amazing - Rose was showing his super cool awesome powers for like few pages and suddenly The Quincy defended himself. It isn't even the 'haha i didn't fail' thing, the fact that Rose couldn't show the best part of his attack is shocking. Because seriously, it's a very popular trick, but the roles reversed here. Usually, the good one doesn't let the bad one show the best part of the attack. But here, the bad one has more luck than the good one. If I can say 'good' and 'bad', remembering the fact that The Quincy calls all the Shinigami 'villains'.

So yes, I find it amazing.

So, kids, everytime you have a sudden desire to tell your enemy how your biggest power works because you think (s)he is stupid and can't think logically so (s)he won't use these information against you think about that Rose did the same and ended up like that:

the chapter ended, Rose died and than - Renji arrived!

- that's like all, if it comes to 561st chapter. Very good one. Oh, man very good one. I even find Renji's line bishy. And if you don't mind, let me live a link to one of my Bleach Challenge Days, when I  wrote about Rose.

TIME FOR 562ND CHAPTER'S REVIEW!

And I really hoped they'll die. Well, there is still an option... A small, little option...

I like Renji but, ugh... If you read my blog long enough you know that I hate when characters are too strong. There are expections, of course. I love Aizen's power and I want him to be the most powerful forever, I hate when characters try to equal him. I'm quite okay with villains being powerful, because it usually makes everything less mainstream. I'm okay with captains being powerful, because, well, captains. I also like the idea of previous captains being more powerful than the current ones - e.g. I'd like Unohana to win with Zaraki and i stupidly belive she's more powerful than he. But I don't like vice-captains and all the low ranks becoming better than their masters. Okay, (almost) every captain was a vice-captain at times and everybody's training, becoming better but I prefer them to stay worse than their bosses.... Hihi. 

So I'm angry because Renji is too strooooong ~

I love James because James is like, the personification of all the feels that fans have. Even cut in half, totally broke and depressed - we will lvoe our characters! We won't die until we read last chapter!

NATURE AND LOGIC IS NOTHING FOR US.

THERE IS NO SCIENCE IN DEVOTION

And the moment when Superstar's eardrums repair from nothing, just becase James applaused him. Don't you think that Tite is joking? Like, he's trying to make a joke out of all this moments in Bleach and all the other comics when characters who had no chances suddenly do something, just because they have many fans and their death/injury/sth would low the position of the series in a ranking? Look, they even are drawn as superhero and his helper, all created in a typical comic style.

Oh Renji, you can try, but it will never ever be as cool as at the first time

I really love this fight, because... It may be all done in a funny, jokingly way, Super Star and James may be just a caricatures, but I still experience the emotional bond between them. I wrote it earlies, that it may be just the fact that James makes The Quincy more confident and brings him power, but it still is beautiful. And I deeply belive that Superstar did like James as a person too. Well, there are no dramatic caps with Superstar saying that James is just a toy or a weapon or anything. On the one hand - he appreciated James, on the other - if he had said cold stuff about him, it'd make fans think that he actually likes him more.

What I wanted to say is that his fight is REALLY amazing, not because it's interesting - sometimes it isn't - but because it's totally different. The Quincy really believes in that he's the hero. All the other villains in Bleach show as that they think they're good but not in such a histerical and insane way as Superstar does. Maybe it's because Superstar want to prove something to himself? Maybe Superstar is one of only few villains in Bleach who questions his 'goodness' and he tries to convience himself about that he isn't bad and killing shinigami is okay? It'd make quite much sense, because the fact that he owes James makes us understand that Superstan isn't very self-confident and he needs applause, love. Maybe it's not even self-confidence thing, but he needs to be accepted by people around him. James may be a metaphore of Superstar needing people by his side. He wouldn't be able to fight without James both in reality and as a metaphore - because James heals his wounds by telling him that he's cool and loved. I can see some sense there.

Bleach 560!

Let your favorite blogger review newest Bleach chapter – 560th !!!

WELL GUYS MY INTERNET SUCKS AND THERE IS NO WAY I'LL UPLOAD SCREENS TODAY, I'LL DO IT WHEN IT GETS BETTER BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE AND DON'T UNDERSTAND HALF OF THIS SHIT

So, let’s talk about this new character! He looks like a typical ‘funny’ character on the first sight and I don’t really like these types. But I have to say I like the way this one was created – an ordinary Marvel fan ;) . I can see Tite’s good job there. And it’s fun for a reader to find references between this guy and trite super heroes.

Guys, don’t listen to me when I say ‘this is gonna be a boring fight…’ because I think so almost every time.  I started watching Bleach long long, maybe not so long, but some time ago and I didn’t like animated/drawn fights at times. I’m enjoying them now, but it’s typical for me to think that a fight is gonna be boring when the characters first appear.

I told you that this guy’s (yeah I don’t remember his name that’s it) fight is going to be boring too. But now I can see that it may be interesting. If it’ll be violent. Because he’s the violent fight type.

I hate Kensei at that moment. How did he dare say such things about Hisagi!!! ;u; He’s just a little vice-captain with a broken heart and spine. There is no need to make him even more broken.

I love Rose I want Rose to fight I want Rose’s bankai ROSE . I. I am happy.

Kensei’s power is so cool. And violent. So, violent fight it must be.

I love this little guy.

Well, it’s Bleach.

Okay, I think this reaction is supposed to show us that Kensei actually isn’t mad at Shuuhei and just acted, because, well, because it’s Kensei. As we can see now he’s calm, so he probably shouted about Hisagi because he was stressed. And it seems like he’s caring about him

I would like to appreciate Tite’s artwork now. Because he didn’t even create a character who just has a concrete style (he usually creates characters who don’t have a straight personality what I like more, but making that expressive characters is hard too). All the chapter is in this style. The frames and the title pages are very expressive. But it’s not only this chapter’s thing. Back in time, when we read ‘Everything but the rain’ mini-arc there were some melodramatic drawing things too. So, he’s got the ability to draw with a chosen emotion ; ) 

And that's something really amazing!

Bleach 559!!!

Hello! This is my late Bleac 599 review! Read it and have fun ; )

I like Haschwald. He’s so cold and has this romantic look. I’m looking forward for him to be broken and depressed show his emotional side. And I want some Haschwald x that chick who is his maid or sth.However, the point is that Haschwald has the best lines. And this one sounds pretty cool. But you can easily understand, that by ‘otherwise I wouldn't have come here’ or ‘that’s my role’  he tells us, that Yhwach has already planned everything. I don’t like how Yhwach tries to act Aizen. On the first sight, it seems like their planning abilities are on equal. But I can see Aizen’s superiority on this field. Aizen has planned everything since the very beginning, his plan has started long long time ago and hasn’t ended yet. Yhwach’s plan, from what we know at the moment, includes generally all the War Arc, but has only fighting-Shinigamis-while-taking-over-Gotei part detailed.

He saved her that’s sooo cute! I love captain-saves-lieutant scenes =^u^=

Also, I really like Nanao - Kyouraku relationship. I don’t ship them in a romantic way, though. I like how he cares about her and very often treats like a daughter. He wants her to be safe, satisfied, appreciated.

I’m saying it the second time already… But I love this schema of Bleach fights.

Seriously, just let me compare this scene to this:

Pretty same, haha.

I know you’ll lose all your esteem towards me, but I have to tell you that.

I’ve read it and started laughing. Man, maybe I don’t get some English slang or something, but this line about tea and the pervasive seriousness don’t suit each other! It really is cool and very bishy, but for the first time it sounded more like a joke.

And delicious tea is obviously a metaphore of Aizen.

IF I WERE KYOURAKU I WOULD GO TO THIS UNDERGROUND PRISON AND CONVIENCE AIZEN TO WORK WITH ME LIKE REALLY OH MAN

But well it’s not said that Aizen would agree hehe.

Good they’ve finally showed Ikkau and Yumichika! And also Hisagi! Now it’s so much clearer to me that all the characters I want to appear will appear when I forget about them.

This fight seems to be boring. I mean, lately there have been really well done fights. But this Quincy seems to be somebody like Dordoni from Pirvaron Espada. Well, let’s hope he’ll surprise me!

I LOVE this part.

So when you’re a Quincy you can’t just lose and live? I bet there is going to be Kenpachi’s talk about living being a good luck and so on, he’s already done it once, in Ikkaku’s flashbacks. What I wanted to mention is the fact, that when Quincies first showed up (in this arc) I thought that they’re pretty nice and so tolerant about each other. They seemed much friendlier than Espada, and Yhwach seemed to be a very kind lord. What was cool but annoyed me, because it disabled all the theories about Aizen being nicer than any antagonist. BUT NOW I AM ABLE TO MAKE ARGUMENTS FOR AIZEN’S BETTERNESS FOREVER.

AIZEN HAS NEVER KILLED HIS PEOPLE. Tousen and Gin do not count.

As the robot said – they were still useful. They’ve lost, okay, but without even showing their true power. Does Yhwach require being able to defeat a captain without using Vollstanding? Or maybe he requires them to win after the first fight – no matter what powers they are going to use?

And the pics of Haschwald saying stuff were posted because he’s such a bishonen I’m dying.

I like that Tite’s drawn Cang Du’s reflection on the sword.

It was so amazing. Haschwald is such a badass. He’s killed Cang Du without even a single blink. Without any empathy or respect. ‘You want your majesty to kill you? Too bad it’s only me’.  So cold. I. I. I. I. I am. I. I’m very thrilled with this scene, like, really, very much. My poor Can Du : (

Bleach Challenge Day 15

haha you thought i've already forgotten but i haven't yet 

let's start 

I hate that this moment was spoilered to me:  Aizen being secretely evil.

BECAUSE MAAAN IT WAS SUCH A PLOT TWIST AND I KNEW ABOUT IT WHYYYYY????

Ugh. Let’s make things clear. The friend who convinced me to watch Bleach spoilered me so many things from first three arcs (Introduction arc, Rescue Rukia arc and Arrancar’s arc, I mean). But it was the most cruel from all of them!

Aizen’s  betrayal was the beginning of a whole new arc! It surely was soo surprising for all of you, not spoilered fans! ‘Woah so Rukia was rescued but it doesn’t matter because it was all in this guy’s plan!!’ you thought. I thought exactly the same, but was less shocked.

Aizen’s betrayal was the first use of ‘he’s good… but he’s evil’ trick in Bleach! It had to be the most shocking of all of them! Or maybe not, because he waited shorter to come up with evilness. But it was the beginning of something totally new, abstract, shocking.

Aizen’s betrayal caused Aizen to change his style! I mean, he looked awesome as a nerd. And he looks equally awesome as a hot villain. And this one moment in the whole series when we have both Aizens in a one chapter/episode had to be shocking.  For me it was only awesome.

It’s one of my favourite moments in the whole manga/anime and what? I KNEW ABOUT IT BEFORE WATCHING AND READING IT. But it was still amazing.

So the conclusion:

I hate the fact she spoilered me this. I’m sad that I couldn’t be shocked when all of these happened. But I don’t feel like it destroyed its awesomness. Because if I have admitted that it did, I wouldn’t be Aizen’s #1 fan and like I AM AIZEN’S #1 FAN????

Bleach 558!

So, I have to say that it was a very good chapter. Nothing more to write in the introduction. Let’s start.

Putting a flashback pic of puppy Komamura and his grandfather’s dramatic lines was a very good idea. Because everybody’s hearts broke at the moment they read the first page. What was an intended efect, I guess.

I bet it was so painful for Komamura. The way he changed in a one moment. Suddenly from the only sane Gote-13 captain he became a beast driven by the revenge. He wanted something he’s been always disapproving. Something that caused him to leave his clan.

Also, it’s heart-breaking that he turned to his dog form. I mean, mentally. If I got it right, he’s not going to talk or think? Maybe he’ll think, but he’s not going to have contact with people in a… in a human way, right? He’s a thinking man. So that’s too bad for Soul Society he won’t be able to share his ideas.

I love Iba’s loyality. And that he doesn’t care about Komamura being just a dog since now. I don’t think Iba’s main goal is to revenge Yamamoto, I think his main goal is to make his captain glad and fulfill his dreams.

She remainds me of Kuroki from WataMote SO MUCH in this picture! Like, look:

But enough comparing. Let’s focus on this:

What are they doing to her? I’m worrying about Bambietta. Their friends seem to be very sadistic. However, I find it very interesting, that they’re doing something bad to her. When Kubo first showed Vandereich army at Quincies' place, they all seemed to be very harmonious! It seemed like they’re helping each other, like they have different boundaries between each other than the Arrancars had. Well, yeah, they have, but I was sure their relationship is much better than the Arrancars one, and now it isn’t so obvious.

It’s just that if a chapter wasn’t very good, like very very good I can’t review it immediately! 

But my reviews are best reviews, so there is a point in waiting for them ;)

I find it really funny. I’ve read it and thought ‘Bleach is really stupid when you read something out of the context’

So, that’s what liked t in his chapter very much (still it wasn’t very very good enough stop pretending miel you are just lazy). I like chapters in which the characters and the author think. And this idea of changing Komamura’s powers was a really good one. He took away his heart – ‘life’ and (visibly) became a human, so his zanpakutou changed too – and now it doesn’t have the armor – its ‘life’. There is so much sense in it. I like it very much.  Also, can I interprete it as ‘fighting is easier without a heart’ ? It’s so emo, yet badass.  I mean, he became more powerful when he left his life, which can mean all the emotions, sorrows, goals and other things that keep us living.

 Also, the fact that  now she cannot blow him up – I like the way he went out of this hard situation B)

That’s also the part I like – desperated Bambietta talking about her own opinion about fighting. She’s touched not even with the fact that she’ll lose, more that her lost won’t even be meaningful for the winner. If she has to lose, she wants her lost to be at least meaningful.

In my opinion, the chapter was good.The fight kept going on - it'll probably end in the next chapter. Or it's also possible that it's going to be a cliff-hanger - if so, I don't think it's going to be such a long lasting cliff-hanger like 'the name of Kenpachi's shikai' thing, because it isn't very important for plot.

The personage of Komamura's been developing lately - that's amazing, because he's started as 'The friend of the blind bad one'. ;) On the other hand - we're reading the last scenes of developed Komamura. He's got quite a scratched character now. I'm not saying that he will die, only that he's not going to have any cool important flashbacks or plot twists. His five minutes will end in the next chapter. Or next next chapter. There isn't much time left for our dogie captain :(

Some serious stuff about SnK time location

Time location in SnK is a very confusing topic. We don’t have any official information (as far as I know). We can see that people are living primitively – so there are many theories, that everything’s happening in middle-ages. I’ve heard about ‘different planet’ or ‘alternative reality’ too.  But I’ve always thought  that it’s distant future. Third era – that’s why it’s year 800-something, no 3000-something. It’s not said that the Earth has to develop forever. What if there was a happening, that destroyed all humanity’s  achievements?

Firstly, I’d like to overthrow the theory about SnK taking place in the past or on a different planet.  It’s quite impossible, because there are some little hints, which say that it’s future Earth.

For example – Armin found a forbidden book as a child, didn’t he? The book was about geography. There was much information about the outside world. So it had to be written at times when outside world was something usual or by an illegal traveler. Whichever option you choose, you have to agree, that information this book included was  about the Earth – ‘sand desserts’ or ‘ oceans with much salt’ are surely Earth’s thing.

I’ve already convinced you, that things are happening on Earth! But there aren’t many ‘different planet’ fans, so it wasn’t a lot. Now – I’m going with an argument against ‘it’s past not future’ theory. Remember Eren talking with Pixis, before he turned into his titan form to save humanity by moving a rock? Pixis said, that ‘Humans who disagreed used to fight against themselves at times’.  He’s talking about wars, isn’t he? And Eren seemed quite surprised when he heard that. So these are facts that come from some forbidden literature, maybe. Pixis seems to be a person that would read forbidden literature.

And the 3rd era thing! Things are taking place in year 800-something. So if I want to stay with the theory of  it being future, it has to be 3rd era. And there are theories about 3rd era being counted since first titan appearance – sorry, guys, but no. First titan appearance is said to be about 100 years before the attack on Shinganshina. Which means – even if titans have been living in our world earlier, people don’t know about it, so they can’t count since then.

I cleared up that field – now let’s come up with a new theory!

I started talking about it with my dear friend who doesn’t have a tumblr account, so I can’t make her an ad. We argued about some things – she believed there can’t be any power that could possibly destroy everything we’ve invented – what happened with our architecture, inventions, religions in SnK world? I believed that if there’s something more powerful than human (God probably), Isayama could have used it as an excuse of making our biggest inventions disappear. And that’s where our – but mostly her – theory have found its base.

She told me, that I’ve missed an important point. That not only God is more powerful than humanity. The nature is too.  ‘You can’t imagine the power which is under the lithosphere’ she said . ‘You know that continents used to move, don’t you?’ - she added – ‘That they’re still moving?’. And I realized what she was going to say.  ‘What if the lithospheric plates hit? Much, much harder than ever before?’

‘AND ALL THE TECHNOLOGY BURNT IN EARTH’S CORE’ – I answered using caps-lock.  

‘Yeah, but what with humans?’ - you’re asking while reading this, because you’re quite smart - ‘Remember dinosaurs? They’ve died and nobody knows how. Something enormous destroyed them all.’

Okay, they were bigger than people – but we, humans , have something more. Intelligence. And as animals we’ve got the survival instinct. These characteristics make a perfect match. So it’d be even weird, if not at least one human have survived this catastrophe! Of course, in SnK world we have much less humans than now. Because much more died than survived.

And how did titans appear? What if titans are the result of all these chemicals people found and used? What if these chemicals reacted with some humans after the hitting of lithosphere plates? What if titans are just mutated humans?

It’d make sense. Because thanks to that we could understand, how half-titans were created.  We can see in Eren’s retrospections that his father made an experiment on him, injected him something. He could have injected those chemicals which transformed humans into titans long time ago.  But why half-titans can control their titan form? Hm. Maybe first titans were the result of bodies of already dead people and chemicals? And half-titans can control themselves thanks to that they were created while being alive?

  So that’s our (I’m a very narcissistic person, at real it’s mostly hers, because I gave her only the base) theory.  I hope you see the sense in it! We think that it’s actually pretty cool and interesting. Also – probable.

Bleach 556!

So, that’s about the time to read your favourite blogger’s Bleach review! Give me notes! Give me followers! I’ll give you pain and tears because I’m always late!

Bambietta’s way of thinking is the best way of thinking! So childish and badass! She remainds me of Grimmjow a little :’D

Also, I don’t think Shinji’s died (I’ve seen some people wondering about it). I guess he’s just injured. That’d give Kira some chances to reappear, what I don’t really want. Also, warning, something shocking is happening right now – Miel isn’t thinking ‘Hmmm, beter if Shinji dies’. Woah! Now you’ve got the proof that I don’t think that everybody should die. I really think about the situation when I say that somebody should die! And it’s not the time for Shinji.

People, I’ve got a new head-canon. That Hinamori would have answered that she’s Aizen’s vice-captain. Not because she thinks that she’s Aizen’s vice –captain. It’s obvious she’s acknowledged the fact that Shinji’s her new captain. Also, I think she likes him as her captain and is surely very loyal, but she seems to still be emotionally attached to Aizen – so I believe that in such a situations, with no time for thinking, she’d involuntarily say ‘Captain Aizen’s!’.

I like her sass.

Her power is great! I like that. The ‘bombing’ thing is quite mainstream itself, but the fact that she doesn’t blow up things, she just make them a bomb is cool and interesting. Also - very powerful.

Nooo, Komamura, nooo. You’re not fluffy anymooooree. I loved you the way you were NOOOOO.

Okay. Calm down, Miel. Remember – plot. It’s good for plot. Nobody cares about your love towards doggies.

I know everybody’s shocked. I haven’t seen it coming too, but somehow, I don’t feel very surprised. Anyway, the fact that he’s become an owner of a human body is good because thanks to his flashbacks we’ve got to know why he was a dog. And until now his doggy appearance was just author’s artistic treatment and the source of gags.

So Komamura is an another person who owes Yamamoto something. Yamamoto was a cool guy after all. You can ship him with anybody. Probably we’re going to discover that everybody loves Yamamoto for a special reason in this arc.

I LOVE HIS NEW BANKAI DESING. JUST LOVE. MAJESTIC. TERRIFIC. AMAZING.

It looks like some kind of a very serious god in a polytheistic religion, like a mythological creature. It can make your opponent be horrified by just looking at it. It’s so much better than the previous one. In a visual sense.

What will be in the next chapter??? Are we going to read Komamura vs. Bambietta fight??? Or is it a cliff-hanger?? Will be Miel late with her review???

The answers for these questions are unknown. Apart of the last one - because Miel is like Ichigo, always late to safe her friends.

Ichigo’s back! Not like I care

I love his new outfit (I can see Shukura’s work here). But there is one thing my friend noticed and I almost died when I realized it:

nobody makes fun out of Ichigo’s new outfit because he looks cool. But  when he last appeared (seriously some months ago) the material on his cheast and his sleeves were ripped and everybody was like ‘Oh Ichigo you hottie hope you’ll stay like that to the end of the arc ohhh I’m melting’ .

Well he did not.

On the one hand – I like when Ichigo thinks, on the other – I don’t like when he’s too strong. But I think I’m okay with this because

HE ALREADY SUCKS.

Of course there is the ‘heros always come in the last moment just like my reviews’ rule. What is more, in Bleach this rule surely works, what is even more, it totally surely works in this arc, because in previous chapter Bambietta told Shinji about heros always coming latest. And by heros we all mean Ichigo.

However, I still like how determined he is : - )

I love this part. But for serious. Not joking. He looks at shonen characters just as I do: ‘Even if you’ve just become a captain it doesn’t matter to me, in my imagination you are still weak because I want you to cry over that guy I ship you with’. But Ichigo’s gotten stronger and shouldn’t cry over that guy I ship him with. I don’t ship him with anybody though.

I know my interpretation isn't right. Still like this part, because - the right interpretation - the fact that he matured isn't connected with the fact that he got more powerful. But both means that he got stronger. 

So there is no Quincy-blood in him now? And no Hollow? Well the Hollow must be because it manifests his shinigami power. What did the cool guy with a difficult name mean??? Or maybe! Maybe he means that Ichigo finally has the mind of a shinigami. That he wants to destroy Hollow and Quincies, the enemies. Ichigo used to not really be by shinigami’s side. Rescue Rukia arc – he was against shingami; Arrancars arc – he was against them but they just helped him; Fullbringers arc – he had no business with them, but they helped him. Now he wants to help them. For the first time. First time he helps Soul Society, not his friends who happen to be by Soul Society’s side. You know what is good about it? That in Bleach we cannot say which side is the good one. We, as a fandom, say that Shinigami's. But really? We’ve seen so much bad stuff that shinigami have done. And good stuff other races have done. So I wouldn’t say it’s clear. Even now, when Ichigo is helping, it won’t change our minds – we had whole three arcs to decide which race do we prefer.

This smile is quite heart-breaking. He believes in Ichigo. But doesn’t believe in the rest of shinigami. Maybe he isn’t really sure that Ichigo will be able to beat any Quincies.

I know they’ll beat her. But I want to know her powers.

What a good chapter it was! I enjoyed reading it very much J

So first.

Hitusgaya dies again. Is he really exhausted or will it be the true death of fandom’s favorite captain? Probably first option, but I think it’s a good time to die for him. I know I say it everytime, but man, this arc is a good moment for Toshiro to die. It’d be depressing, just like the current plot.

Maybe he spent too much time with Hinamori and her immortality went to him?

Also I suspect Toshiro x Rangiku shippers are happy about what currently happens? You know, your ship is getting dramatic.

Yeah I love the way how Tite skipped Bambietta with Komamura's bankai vs. Komamura fight.

Do I ship Bambietta with all her group or do I not? (that’s an existential question, be serious)

OKAY THEORIES TIME

Why did Komamura get a bucket?

a)      That’s some kind of super cool power

b)      His great grandfather (I and my friends call him mr. Fluff but that wasn’t necessary) decided that he has to hide his face again from now on (if I remember well he was mad at Komamura because of that he showed his face /and some other stuff too/)

Dunno sth with hid great grandfather but that’s quite obvious/

I want to see their fight. I don't like Komamura's way of fighting, but I like Bambietta very much. I hope she'll talk a lot. I like how talkative she is :D And how different she acts surrounded by enemies than surrounded by subordinates. 

BEST SHIKAI people often think that Shinji’s my favorite Vizard but that’s not true. Sakanade is one of my favorite zanpakutous

Oh awesome Ichigo :/ Ichigo, you better not win against the Quincy. Beat one powerful Quincy, but do not beat Yhwach. Do not beat everybody. Do not be mainstream. AND REMEMBER THAT

Heeey maybe Ichigo will go to Hueco Mundo! That’d be great. Let’s help Halibel. Yes. Or are Chad and Orihime strong enough to do it?I want to see some Hueco Mundo scenes.

Or maybe Ichigo is just calling to ask Urahrara a typical ‘hey I powered up what to do’ question? Then Urahara could send him to HM, but on the other hand – he said that things are getting worse, so I guess he’s going to ask Kurosaki for help.

The thing is that now there are going to be final fights – fights with bankai/ressurections/vollstaending are final fights. AND FINAL FIGHTS MEAN SAD FLASHBACKS AND INNER DEPRESSING THOUGHTS OF CHARACTERS.

Bleach Challenge Day 14

I’m so tired of writing about concrete characters, I’ll go back to them at the end of this challenge. So now a more interesting topic.

Favorite arc: ‘The thousand year blood war’

Okay, so many people hate on this arc and stopped reading Bleach because of it. But in my opinion, Bleach was quite stupid to this point. Not talking about first arc – my friend is actually going through this and I can see how stupid this manga used to be. I love Arrancars and – surprise! – Fullbringers arc, though. But ‘The thousand year blood war’ wins everything to me.

Let’s analyze the most important moments.

1.       Nel appears

It was very important for me! I felt that Arrancars aren’t forgotten and will have a role, which was good, because they’re my favorite race (I’ll make a post about it too). Also she told us about Halibel being the queen of Hueco Mundo (not being dead!) and in prison for now. It was also when Ivan appeared. And Ivan started all the Vandereich thing. I appreciate Ivan. Give him some esteem, people.

2.       Yhwach appears

Remember that? Everybody hated him :D Now he got some new fans I hope. I’ve been liking him since the beginning. Well I like all the characters, but he is one of the ones I like ‘more’ :D  I love the way he sits, so badass… Okay, it’s not one of the ‘let’s fangirl’ posts, sorry. Anyway when he appeared me and my friend felt like ‘woah finally a totally evil antagonist in Bleach that’s what this manga needed’ (Aizen is evil but in a weird, not mainstream way). But now it comes out he’s not that evil either. Tite can’t make evil antagonists. And I think that’s good :’)

3.       Ichigo is a Quincy

So it can seem very lame for the first sight and I understand that many people hate this all ‘Ichigo is everything’ thing. Especially the fact that his soul reapers powers are manifested by a Hollow. But it makes sense when you look at it closer. It wasn’t something Tite Kubo thought up while writing – it was all planned since the first chapter. We’ve got small hints since the beginning. At least Ichigo using Blut Vene while fighting Kenpachi. People, Tite planned everything! Almost everything, not only Ichigo’s powers. Even some details. Like dunno, teh Quincy a la svastik cross on his bankai. But these are things for different posts.

4.       Yhwach is Zangetsu/Zangetsu is Yhwach/There is no Zangetsu/Hichigo is Zangetsu/maaan...

YOU PEOPLE SAY IT’S WEIRD? THAT IT WAS SHOCKING? NOBODY SAW IT COMING?

I DID!!!!!!!

Yeah I’m still proud of my genius I will never stop being happy about my theory becoming true. I THOUGHT THIS THEORY UP WITH MY FRIEND WHEN YHWACH FIRST SHOWED. AT THE POINT WHEN HE CALLED ICHIGO HIS SON BORNED IN THE DARKNESS. I WAS HAPPY. WE WAITED SO MANY MONTHS BUT IT WAS TRUE.

5.       Kenpachi vs. Kenpachi fight

6.       Aizen planned everything aka shoujo mini arc

It’s one of my favorite mini-arcs so far. I know many people don’t like it because of this shoujo thing – that’s right, Bleach is originally a shonen manga. But I’ve never read Bleach for fights so for me this arc is amazing. I could see how Ichigo’s parents met!

Okay let’s not act like Ichigo’s parents or plot are important, they are not, but hot nerdy Ryuken is.

Also I could see my OTP becoming canon, it was something beautiful. Of course, now it’s so obvious that Katagiri is Uryuu’s moter, and for people who will read these 9 chapters in 30 minutes not in 3 months it won’t be anything exciting, just a usual ship. But I remember how I first saw Katagiri

Immediately started shipping her with Ryuuken and then the endless sorrow that it won’t be canon, that Ryuken will be in love with Masaki to the very end, that parents will find him a different black-haired wife. It was PAIN.

So maybe some more advertising – link! (I know I’m annoying but I will add adds as often as possible deal with it)

And I find it magic that all these guys who are about human-aged 40s (or dead) now were described as very young people. Very magic. And the way they changed… That’s so depressing. Also, please notice the fact that it was quite planned too, because in 27th volume:

So I guess Isshin was  surprised that Ryuuken called him by name of his old crush and cousin.

But I don’t know what do I love more – the life of characters’ parents when they were still teenagers or Aizen’s appearance. It was such a great feeling when he showed up! Like asdfgh! I can’t describe it. Just amazing.

Also, please mention the fact that the volume in which Masaki first appears (3rd) is titled ‘Memories in the rain’ this connection means a lot for me.

7.       Ishida on the dark side /Getting to know with Stern Rittern(s?)

I don’t have much to say about evil Ishida – he’s hot and I hope he’s not a spy. Everybody wants him to be a secretly good spy, second Gin. I don’t. It’s too easy, too mainstream. I want Ishida :

-          Being on the Quincy’s side because of his heart will

-          Having pangs of conscience because he loves his friend but not giving up and still being on this 'bad' side

-          Having the order to kill Inoue

-          Got killed while trying to kill Inouse – e.g. Grimmjow killing Ishida. I want him to get killed by somebody who just won’t care about him, like Grimmjow (a cool fight with Ichigo would be very nice, but let him die some time later)

-          Being okay with that Yhwach killed his mother – not because he hates his mother, but because he hates his father and thinks that half-blood shouldn’t insult Quincy blood. I mean, he’s got the ‘my dad did bad things’ sort of character. He doesn't blame his mother for being half-blood, but he does blame his father because of getting into a relationship with a half-blood.

-          Uryuu yelling at Ryuuken, I’m begging I can even start praying if it’ll help it’s just everything I need in my life

So that’s all. Plus I like his new uniform.

About Stern Rittern – I enjoyed the chapter ‘Letters’ in which Tite showed us most of them :D For the first sight they were all similar to characters we already know, but now I can see the differences between them. I believe every character in Bleach has different personality. I love it, it’s so natural. Even if many of them are similar, they aren’t perfectly same after all.

And I love Naak le Vaar. <3

8.       Last 9 days /hiatus

I get it, Bleach will actually end someday.

Good that every character can fight a month, then flashback two months. And that Bleach has so many characters. 9 days isn’t that soon.

It’d be so cool if Bleach have ended up with Quincy winning but the fluffy part of me wants it to end with Shinigami/Hollows peace and Quincy’s death.

Hiatus was okay, I was quite happy because I didn’t miss any chapters while being out.

So this was my timeline. And don’t think that’s all. It’s not so easy to read my posts!

What I like and many people dislike in this arc:

A lot of feelings. Really. Such a feelsy arc. Dying, flashbacking, crying. Feelsy.

A lack of trainings. I love it. I hate reading how characters are training – especially main characters, because they train in a very weird way. And this arc is such a salvation for me – Ichigo trains off screan! Ichigo exists off screan! Really, Ichigo doesn’t show very often lately. And that’s good. I love the mainlessness of the main character in current Bleach.

Thinking. Lots of thinking. Because Tite doesn’t explain anything. + for plot ; - for fans. Because if fans don’t want to reread chapters (or read my posts because it’s basically rereading chapters) they won’t really get the connections. You think I over-interpret? So let me mention that Bleach isn’t Tite’s first manga. Zombie Powder was first. And you know what did Tite write in ‘author note’ in the very first volume of his?

‘Hello, I’m Kubo. This is my fist ever manga book. The theme is fighting. Sitting there and just reading it without thinking is fine. But please, if you ever feel like it, please try to use your mind as you read […]’

Quite sassy, eh? And suitable not only for Zombie Powder, but also for Bleach

The sudden change of his style. And I don’t mean drawing style, which is good. But suddenly characters can die, Ichigo doesn’t appear often, people in the comic are more cruel… It’s still a shonen, but a completely different one. But you know what? The style is similar to Zombie Powder. And Zombie Powder (in my opinion a good manga) didn’t have many fans and was interrupted. I have my own head-canon for Tite Kubo’s life – that he started from mainstream level to get fans and then, when he became popular, he started writing a manga in his style – knowing that this won’t be interrupted, when he’s famous. Still, we can see some boring, mainstream chapters once in a blue moon. Why? I guess he has to jump in the ranking of Shonen Jump. Even such a famous mangaka like he is quite depended on rankings. Writing mangas isn’t like writing books. When you write book your editor decides about will it be selling in shops or not. When you write a manga, an editor decides on is the story okay to show it in the magazine, and then when it’s showed people who read the magazine vote for best chapter in all the magazine, magazine get scores and the worst mangas are interrupted. Because there’s no profit for magazine to print mangas which don't have fans.

But it would mean he really planned everything.

Bleach 553~

Okay, here we go with the as always late review!

So Tite made a week cliff-hanger ‘DOES CANG DU STILL LIVE?!’ , we were all so excited. And there is only a cut wing.  Nothing spectacular. Eh.  wing is a weird type of a limb, right?

Toushiro looks like a starved kid from Africa. I just want to give him some bread when I see this manga cap. Like really. Poor boy.

I think you got used to my ‘I like this character but I hoped he/she died’ talk hahahaha totally not a sociopath haha It’s okay that Hitsugaya haven’t died yet, like, he was really exhausted while fighting and he would probably die if Bazz-B have used his awesome fingers, but Cang Du broke the party. It’s quite believable. But I wanted at least Sui Feng to die. The robot looks like he’s doing something to her organs.

I’d love it to be the awesome

Seriosuly am I a psychopath

I like this line. Because I like how Sui Feng hates Urahara, but has to do things he tells shinigami to do, because he’s so much above the others. Out of the topic, I’m not really a big fan of Urahara, to be honest :’) The phenomenon of his popularity surprises me a lot.

They’re not stupid, oh my god, they are not, they aren’t woah.

I like this moment, because we’ve seen zanpakutou talking to his owner in canon (not filler) only two times – it was Zangetsu and Zabimaru. And even though we can’t see the form of Hyourinamru, we see that they’re talking. It’s cool. Something different.

OH MY GOD THAT’S ONE OF MY FAVORITE DRAWINGS IN BLEACH LIKE REALLLYYYYY.  Because he looks so majestic. And there is such a connection between him and his bankai. Hitsugaya is very close (in the literally way) with his bankai (most of shinigami aren’t, they for example hold the bankai or sth). It’s on his back. But let’s not talk about these little things that aren’t really why do I like this pic:

THE HOLLOW HOLE. HOLLOW HOLE. GUYS HE’S A VIZARD YISSSS. (will he be the vizard only this one time or for the rest of his life? The first option, I guess. Awesome anyway).

And I like how he doesn’t care about being partly Hollow now. Nobody does, not even Sui Feng (she seems to be a person with a tendency to haterd). They all want to have their bankais back and to live. That’s so... cute. :)

Guys it’s one of my favorite lines in Bleach. Oh my god. Hitsugaya used to say irritating trying-to-be-bishy lines which I hate because they’re not really cool. But this one is really amazing. Is it filled with sass or empathy? Knowing Toushiro it’s sass. What makes it even cooler cruelier, because Cang Du would say things which were very touching and romantic, and he seemed not to make fun out of his enemies, more like he was acutally sad about them. And it makes Toushiro even sassier, he’s like making fun of Cang Du. He says ‘lol you’re a quincy zero esteem to you’ in prettier words, to be honest.

Beautiful death.

Basically, I liked this chapter. Not as much as last one (I even wasn’t late with it), but the ending of this one really was good.

Wondering will I ever forgive Tite for not killing Sui Feng at the coolest moment.

Hi guys~ :) I enjoyed this chapter so muuuuch. It was amazing. It was so cool, that I even decided not to be late with the review (what happens hardly ever). Let's start!

  Okay. So did he. Did he keep Matumoto under his coat. How. How is that possible that he didn’t look fatter. How. What.

I love this character. He… He… HE FEELZ DA DRAMA.

But seriously. I like him. He seems to be that kind of dreamy character, who’s never really with current action, thinking about how angsty his OTP the life is. He kills soul reapers in the order of his majesty, not because he wants to – on the other hand, he doesn’t seem to be like Haschwald, he actually doesn’t really see anything bad in killing them. He’s just cool and thinks about romantic ways to die much. He actually thinks a lot about everything. Such a philosopher.

It has to be a terrible feeling for a shinigami, getting hurt by your own weapon, not to saying that you actually contact with it on a spiritual level. Be the opponent of yourself.

I think this line is beautiful. I love the moment when he says 'It's a beautiful bankai' most. He's got the respect. He doesn't tease Hitsugaya 'lol ive gotcha bankai and its so shitty but i gonna kill ya', he's actually serious and tries to use the bankai in a proper way.

ULQUIORRA YAY

I put only that one pic, because there is no sense in putting all this conversation here. The dialogue between Urahara and Kurotsuchi about Quincy and Arrancars is very interesting. I love how they’re trying to find out, why didn’t Quincy capture their ressurections. It’s all so… logical.

Ohh the talks between geniuses .///.

Also I love how Arrancars are important now – they’re my favorite race in Bleach, I find them so interesting. I guess I’ll talk about it later, while writing Bleach Challenge (I guess I’m supposed to write it every day, but I write it once in a blue moon. Be patient).

Oh sorry I’ve just wrote about how excited I am about Omaeda’s bankai but then I had to delete it, because he didn’t really touch the drug yet. So yeah. Probably he doesn’t have one. But cool if he does.

I guess now they’ll be able to use bankai, won’t they? However, I liked it so much, that they were all so hopeless :/ It could’ve lasted at least a little longer (read: at least some more of them could have died). But the drugs are OK.

Oh God. That’s. So. Great. Like. They mixed Shinigami with Hollows, right? Do you understand that

CAPTAINS OF GOTEI 13 JUST BECAME VIZARDS.

Can you see that? These captains who hate Hollows becoming ones (partly, though). Of course that’s basically the same situation as with Shinji and c.o., but guys, Shinji and his friends got used to. And now we’ll be able to see people trying to accept the new situation. Oh man.

  So, that’s the kind of chapters I like – not really fighting, but some thinking and drama. Yisss.
