Starter for Mal (desert elves because of the current warm weather)

Joe had heard of a special group of elves said to have survived and thrived in the desert under such harsh conditions. It would make a great story and have a book to write. So, he decided to head off to find them. After getting a tip, his search began to narrow, closing in on the desert. However, it stretched for miles. However, it was especially hot that day and even chugging all of his water, he couldn’t help but, passing out for some time, luckily he did it under some shade and would rest there. His pale skin would be easily spotted.

Mallisia was slowly making her way back to the village, crossing the desert on her camel when she noticed the figure passed out in the shade, with a small gasp she rode over, dismounting and kneeling by him, touching the back of her claw to his forehead. "Oh dear..." She mumbled, getting her canteen and carefully pouring a bit of the cool water onto him.
