St Sophia Cathedral Timelaps Pics, Kiev, Ukraine
While in Kiev, Ukraine I went to visit the St Sophia Cathedral. I was quite amazed at the interior, especially the steel squared tile floor to preserve its floor. This site is Lievs best known landmark and first heritage site in Ukraine. The architecture was beautiful as are the wall and ceiling paintings.
Although not allowed to touch the walls, I did as I wanted to feel the building. I use to be an Architectural Designer many years ago and touching a building of this age and prestige meant alot to me. I did hear a security guard yell "NO TOUCHING", afterwards, just chuckled as I knew I would be told :)
