i love trying to get into touhou knowing damn well i wont remember anyone's names (especially with how many there are), theres no youtube explanations of the lore, i feel like i need to know every single connection a character has so i get the fandoms jokes, and i cant read manga unless im forced to.

can i just like touhou for the characters and not be asked about ANYTHING about the lore.. "oh yeah remember when reimu-" no i dont
