Escha and Logy, from Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, will appear in Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals. But Escha is a bit… different.
Escha, voiced by Rie Murakawa, is an 11 year-old alchemist. She is a lively, gluttonous girl living in Flussheim. She is curious, taking interest in various things, and nowadays manipulates Logy. She is childhood friends with Mea, who lives in the same town.
Logy, voiced by Kaito Ishikawa, is a 27 year-old blacksmith. You’ll meet him in Flussheim, and he’ll also do weapon creation for Firis. His illustration seems the same as it was in Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, but his 3D model may have changed.
Other new characters introduced in Dengeki PlayStation include:
Caldo Rao (voiced by Hiroki Tochi) – Age: unknown. Occupation: Historian.
Kirsche Littel (voiced by Ayano Yamamoto) – Age: 10. Occupation: Alchemist.
Kai Holthouse (voiced by Ryousuke Morita) – Age: 25. Occupation: Sailor.
Mea Holthouse (voiced by Rina Honizumi) – Age: 12. Occupation: Shop Assistant.
It is unknown if any of these characters, including Escha and Logy, will join the party.
Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on September 29 in Japan.
Atelier Shallie Plus is already in the works. In more surprising news, the updated version will include Logy and Ayesha. Also, some of the story is to be re-written.
Atelier Escha & Logy Plus ~Alchemists of the Dusk Sky~
Official Site: http://www.ateliergames.eu/escha-logy-plus
Coming to PlayStation Vita on January 20, 2016.
Following from the success of past Atelier releases on the portable platform, Atelier Escha and Logy Plus is the second stand-alone installment of Gust’s latest Atelier trilogy: the trilogy of Dusk. Preceded by the bittersweet Atelier Ayesha: the Alchemist of Dusk, Atelier Escha and Logy was released for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system in 2014 featuring a dual leading character model, where the player could choose to see the story unfold through the eyes of the romantic alchemist Escha Malier, or the more levelheaded and rational Logix Ficsario. Surrounded by a colourful cast of interesting supporting characters Escha and Logy learn to combine their strengths and use the power of alchemy to unlock the secrets of the nearby ‘Unexplored Ruins’!
The PlayStation Vita version comes bursting with new content including brand new event scenes inspired by the Escha and Logy anime (released in Japan in celebration of Gust’s 20th anniversary). Additionally, it includes all the DLC from the PlayStation 3 version, a new playable character, new costumes, and – to the delight of fans of the Atelier IP - a series of new, augmented difficulty missions and harder 'boss’ enemies!
Finally, Gust have made a some tweaks on the game system, incorporating PSVita-only features and creating a more balanced gaming experience for the PlayStation Vita.

Escha & Logy - 6 Years Later!
Sato | Japan
We previously reported that Logy from Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky will show up in Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, and Gust has followed up with a first look at the young man, who is now six years older.
Logy (Logix Fiscario):
Six years have passed since the events of Atelier Escha & Logy, and Logy has been traveling around the world in search of more knowledge. He has returned to Kilhen Bell to start up a blacksmith shop. He’s also known Sophie for a very long time.
While Logy might not look as unrecognizable as previously mentioned, his new outfit definitely stands out. He must’ve picked up that new style somewhere along his travels.
Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will release in Japan on November 14, 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
Yoru no Nai Kuni will launch for PlayStation 4 as Nights of Azure in the west on April 1 in Europe, an photo of Koei Tecmo’s MCM London Comic-Con stand reveals. (U.S. release date to be announced.)
Additionally, Atelier Escha & Logy Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky for PS Vita will launch in Europe on January 20. (Again, U.S. release date to be announced.)
We’ve e-mailed Koei Tecmo about the U.S. release dates, but MCM London Comic-Con officially kicks off tomorrow, so we’ll likely get the formal announcements then.
The Atelier Sophie feature from this week’s Famitsu reveals a few cool new details, not the least of which is the return of one Logy from Atelier Escha & Logy.
The Logy of Atelier Sophie is a bit different from the one in the last game however. Logy is a 24 year old Blacksmith who has traveled throughout the world. He returns home for the first time in a while, and opens up his own shop. His dream is for the weapons he makes to travel throughout the world with their owners. He’s an old pal of Sophie’s.
As always, Pamela is around, and the sister at a local church. She also runs a nursery school, and is pretty much famous throughout the town. There isn’t a soul there who doesn’t know her name.
We also get some information on the Doll Make system, which functions not unlike from the basic alchemy system. Basically by using certain items to create Plachta’s body, you’ll get different effects on her stats and even change her appearance. Will you choose Plachta’s body-type based on her usefulness in combat, or for the character design?
As noted a ways back, Atelier Sophie has a proper day night cycle. Famitsu goes over a basic in-game day. In the morning, Sophie heads off to gather materials. She arrives at her location at around midday. However, there are also certain materials and monsters that can only be encountered at night, making it worthwhile to go out in the dark. There are also days off which feature special events, and even a weather system which affects which items can be acquired.
I was initially pretty shaky on Atelier Sophie due to the not-so-hot initial character designs, but I’ve since turned around on the whole thing. Now to dig up my copy of Atelier Escha & Logy.
Here’s another pic of “Logy” he looks rather different but if it is him, than does that mean he’s going to be the new Hagel?
Because judging from the way they talked in interviews I am pretty sure that Book isn’t connected to the Dusk series, but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Logy’s official design there! I’m really happy about this!! XD
I’d like to think that The Dusk Series and the Book Series (if that is how it’s called) are in the same universe but I doubt it since Logy is 24 here. So it’s been 6 years since Escha & Logy and right now he should be in Colseit as Shallie happens 6 years after E&L too.
Though it’s too early to crush all my hopes, so I’ll just wait until the release of the game!! I’d love it if there were some teasing about his relationship with Escha, but then they’re probably not the same Logy. Really excited about Sophie now!!
Logix “Logy” Fiscario, from Atelier Escha & Logy, will appear in Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals.
In Atelier Sophie, Logy is 24 years old, meaning six years have passed since the events of Atelier Escha & Logy. He’s traveled around the world in his pursuit of knowledge, but has come to Kirhen Bell to open a blacksmith shop. Sophie is an acquaintance of Logy’s from the old days. His character is designed by Noco.
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book is due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan on November 19.
