OKAY SO..

I am back from the death, FINALLY and I will cross my fingers that this time it’s for effin good! BUT ANYWAYS! I will be dropping all threads (minus the one with Melchior which I just replied to) and I want new ones. PLEASE READ MORE!

In summary, I’m gonna say Mino was away from the academy for family matters, his father died last time I disappeared, but since he was obligated to keep the business and he discovered some fishy business, he was getting used to all that underworld stuff behind his father’s hotel branch and trying to run it as best as possible even though he hates the shit. So after long months he comes back to the academy to hide for a while, still running the shit, but has a fake face in front of the business so he can have a normal life (also he might be hiding from an enemy yes).

Having said that, here some prompts/plots that pop into my mind just to make it easier to interact:

Another human (or “human”) friend from his past crew that joins the academy

A high school friend/sweetheart/secret crush

Someone that infiltrates the academy to keep an eye on him/someone who’s selling info about him to the outside

Someone that keeps him around, but lowkey wants to eat him too (lmao because why not)

Someone he crushes on, but gets complicated because he knows his lifestyle is not one where he should drag anyone into, though they insist and at times he yields, then some other times he pushes them away again

Someone who secretly crushes on him (platonically or not, that’s on you)

The man was not a stranger to the world of booze and a good time, however this was quite a new experience. The music, the lights and the different alcoholic beverages- everything was similar but in a very distant way. He used to have candles and huge stacks of wood on fire when there was a fire in the desert; not these flashy things in a million different colors. He was used to jamming on a sistrum or castanets, not these strange beats and boops coming from the audio boxes. The booze was different too- not only beer and wine that was bought from travelers or made in the city itself but strange colored liquids that tasted sweet and sour and anything in between. 

Melchior was not opposed to this but he was quite lost in the night club as he looked around a little lost and tugged the windings around his wrists tighter and stepped aside for some rather drunk people laughing and swaying, looking at them with envy.

In contrast to the other male, Mino’s life has been surrounded by flashy lights and loud music; music he produced himself sometimes. He didn’t know much about parties at the desert with torches and castanets, however he was quite familiarized with mid-eastern music since it’s also something he could mix into the beats he produces at times to give the tracks that ‘shake what your mama gave you’ vibe. Alcohol, that’s another thing that he has been embracing for so long he barely has memory of the times he spent in life without trying it; from a manly bourbon to a bright neon coloured drink, he has tried it all, along with other substances.

Mino had just finished his section on stage, has been the one to blame for the ‘strange beat coming out of audio boxes’ and now it was time for one of those strange drinks, or perhaps he would just go for Vodka, yeah that’s what he asked for. Then, while waiting, he turned to the side on his bar stool, spotting the male who seemed older than him along with lost, and talked to him as he was still in that trance between avoiding the drunken strangers and studying them.

“Not you’re usual place to hang out, is it?” he said with a soft smile.

Rabid, furious, that’s what he was—he couldn’t take this shit any longer and the only person he knew could find some better shit than he could find himself, that was Joshua. He’s spent a few minutes trying to find the fucker, but he had no clue where the fuck he was and he was not answering his phone. Casually walking past the cafeteria, there he was enjoying his meal. Motherfucker. Rushing into the place, he sneaked behind him until he arrived to his table, where he slammed his hand down twice. “Dafuq you have a phone for?” He asked with a stoic expression, however rolled his eyes after his words. “Follow me.” He almost sounded demanding and started walking outside again, turning around to eye him midway to the door. “Hurry up—” and with that said he roughly pushed the door opened and stormed out, hoping the other would meet him outside briefly.

Three months of absence didn’t seem too long; it went by so fast and in a blink of an eye summer was ready to wave goodbye. Fall was just right around the corner ready to cover the academy with its golden grace. Ah, the academy. Nothing really changed except for the fact that another season was about to unfold and another pile of paperwork was waiting for the pixie at the admissions office. She should have picked up the documents yesterday after school in order to submit the changes today, however, she received an emergency call from work, which was no longer a surprise after the chain of command within their organization got modified.

A deep sigh: to inhale positivity and exhale negativity. The pixie went on to do  a couple deep-breathing while walking along the path towards the main building of the school. She was mentally chanting not to get any calls (she asked for a 12-hour break) until midnight and crossing her fingers to get some real rest after picking up the documents. Opening the door, Zoe immediately saw a familiar face that made her face lit up and she waved. “Hi! It’s Mino— right?” She couldn’t help contain the excitement upon seeing his face as it had been a long time since their last encounter. “How are you doing? Long time no see!”

Wasn’t it? For him was an eternal hell, the longest three months of his life. Usually having a long summer was a good thing, very fun, not for him—not this year that was. Autumn was one of his favorite seasons but he has never related to it as much as this year. He felt like another falling leave, like he was back to his real home but couldn’t shake off the bad mood from visiting his parents and he was dying inside. That’s how draining being at “home” felt for him, something he wishes he didn’t have any family at all, it would be easier to breathe. 

With some luck the chilli air would freeze his brain and he would stop thinking and fall back to his normal self because for the love of god, this was fucking annoying. With that in mind he grabbed his headphone, playing a heavy bass type of song and took a deep breath to go outside his dorm. And of course odds were not on his side, out of all people it has to be her, and not that he didn’t wanted to see her, of course not, but this was not his best face and not one he was proud to show her. However he did his best to flash a smile, didn’t seemed very natural, but he tried—taking off his headphones he grinned at her. “You remember my name, that’s progress.” He said trying to sound flirty as ever, specially when she seemed so happy to see him. “I’m—I’m great and you? It’s been a while, yeah.”

Daniel chews on a pencil for a moment as he reads the file before him. It had been kind of hinted at during his last meeting with his parole officer that he should be doing more work. He’d managed to organize his office and start going through the files of students. There ways honestly way to much time having to stop and make notes on to races that he needed to research. He was starting to feel like a college student again with all the notes and paperwork he was going to have to do.

The last file on his desk had a note of a departure and a return date. Daniel looked confused as he realized this being was human, who took a leave of absence, and is returning today. As he reads through the file he sees the reason the students is being recommended due to a family illness. Daniel shrugs to himself and stands up, this seems like an easy enough assignment that wouldn’t be too much work. He wasn’t the last type normally but this job wasn’t as fun or appealing to Daniel as his last one. And if he’s really feeling honest, he’d admit he’s only doing this so he doesn’t go back to jail.

Daniel walks out the door, map in one hand and a few quick notes he made in the other, and headed out toward the students dorm to see if he’d arrived back yet.

Once on his bedroom, Mino didn’t really take out his earbuds—the young male just threw his backpack over a chair and sat on the bed, laying back with a deep sigh and enjoying the silence while it lasted. His roommate was not precisely a silent one, if he was even around anymore. Made him frown up to the ceiling, thinking about it, the room was oddly silent and he couldn’t hear the beeping sound of his roommate many computers. Though there was definitely stuff on the other half of the room? Maybe he had a new roommate now, but they were not there at the moment anyway.

Great, so now he was really lonely and as good as that sounded, he didn’t needed to be this alone—Mino wouldn’t accept this fact, he was actually glad to be alone. However for now, he would just enjoy this. Closing his eyes, the male tried to rest from his exhausting trip, not because it was too long, but because sometimes he wonders if he was adopted or something. He definitely didn’t belonged to that family.

Just about when he was starting to doze, someone knocked on his door and we all know how grumpy he can get when his sleep is disrupted, but he tried to tone it down when he saw the unfamiliar face once he opened the door. Was this his new roommate? His eyes dropped to the other’s hands and quirked a brow. “Can I help you?”

I kinda wanna explore Mino’s darker side, he is not gonna be a very happy bean for a few, he will be nice and gentle, but also something will be obviously wrong!

Mino is not a bad child, he is just a good person that does bad things and has been labelled as a rebel, but he has a good heart. It only took his father to fall ill for him to stay back home all these months. He want nothing to do with his father’s business but he assisted him and took care of his company until his father got better, ironically the old man still refuses to talk to Mino is not gonna stay —too bad he never will. Specially not after realizing his father’s business is not as clean as he makes it seem. 

It’s draining, it really is, but at least he is back at that place he calls home and where he feels more comfortable. However it will take him a little while to get back to his normal state; hoodie over his head and glasses on, he holds onto the straps of his backpack as he makes his way across the campus, laying oddly low on the way to his room.
