i can look up my parents and read about them, as much as i want, but that's still about their public personas and nothing on the holonet can ever give me more of my parents and there's all this information but it's all about them as symbols and not them as people and i feel super kriffing stupid as i say this because like my brother doesn't even know our mother's name and doesn't know about all this information that he could get but i know that the person i can find old articles about is only sort of the same person i want back and it's not fair that i'm relegated to knowing my dead parents through the same lens as everyone else in the galaxy when i know that's not the full picture
