I AUDIBLY GASPEDDDDD
This man is ART.
And it wasn't for love that you went back home
We all know about Marriage of convenience, but what about marriage of INCONVENIENCE.
Hero!Touya is a menace. So when his father specifically asked him not to marry someone who was quirkless, ever. What did he do? Immediately starts to find a woman who was around his age that was quirkless- which was honestly harder than it looks considering more than 80% of the population had quirks.
Marriage of inconvenience, just to spite everyone around.
Everyone's...watching...Is that all it was? Something as simple as this? I wish I'd realized sooner...
This is now animated- aren’t we going TOO FAST🥲
It's been a while!
I watched the new episode of MHA and decided to be delusional and pretend this is what happened instead.
Loved the part where they all went home unharmed and ate cold Soba together
they literally showed us a glimpse of what Touya could’ve been if he wasn’t neglected by his dad and i’m not okay
- reunion
Honestly? It makes me uncomfortable knowing how we were never told about a big chunk of Touya's life after he ran away from that whole orphanage shit show. Like I know he lived in some abandoned building and trained but- that's it?? He can't just survive with just a roof over his head and a shit ton of training
Where did he get food? Clothes? The medical knowledge he NEEDED to stay alive? Did he just- winged it all?? The whole staple stuff? He just one day saw his skin peeling and then stared at a staple gun and thought "ykw will fix this? Staples!"
Like wtf. Did he even had anyone to speak to? To complain when he was in pain? When he was hungry? When he was SCARED?? It makes me SICK. He was 16, mentally he was like 13. He didn't even know wtf trigonometry meant???
wait do people read first person stories and think they're the ones in the story???
Saw people talking about not liking first person, which is fair, but their reasoning was like "I would not do that" and I don't understand that mindset.
First person stories are still about a character. A character making their own decisions. First person isn't about you???? At least I thought it wasn't. What am I missing? I've always seen first person as just a more in-depth look into a character's mind and stricter POV. Not as a reader stand-in.
I see first person stories like I'm sitting down across from the narrator getting the wildest tea imaginable
Most accurate way to read a first person story
Look at them though, they’re so married.
These two being together in the final panel is making me absolutely delusional

With the recent development of Touya crying in the newest chapter, I decided to go back and find each time we've seen him cry as Dabi. Which was only twice.
The first time was back in chapter 191 after he remembered Snatch's words to him.
Then, the second time was back in chapter 301.
Then, in the newest chapter, when he cries and apologizes to Shouto.
Looking at these panels in comparison, his tears look like real tears, not tears of blood. They look much lighter than the dark blood we've seen him cry before.
