Made sourdough...baked it and everything. Everything was smooth besides the fact that I slightly overproofed my dough. I just thought my kitchen was especially warm for some reason. but no...I FORGOT TO ADD THE SALT! that's why it proofed so fast. Fml. It looks so pretty too T.T

Today, my first even teaching internship ended.

I was with the students for only 8 days yet the goodbye was so bittersweet. I know i will probably never see them again and I doubt they will remember me or the 2 other student teachers in a couple of years...but i will. They were the first ever class I learned that I actually like being a teacher.

I thought that my personality would clash to much with what the job entailed, which it does, but it didn't. If the internship was longer I could've gotten closer with all the kids, not just half of the class.

It's so gratifying seeing the kid that's really shy and rarely smiles smile because you share interest/things they are passionate about.

I went from the kids not knowing my name and ignoring me when they had questions to them seeking conversations with me.

Fuuuuuck I'm crying now XD

Anyway, I think i will really enjoy being a teacher.

Guys, i might be a wizard.

I bought some new mary jane docs (first docs ever!). From a bunch of tiktoks I figured they'd be a pain to break in but it took me a day. Im wearing then rn for the first time and they dont hurt.

Im telling you, its witchcraft.

Im making a cake rn. Its lemon cake with black cherry jam and cream cheese frosting.

Guess what went wrong and I cant fix...the fucking frosting. I make mine with just cream cheese,sugar and a bit of milk. (I hate buttercream with a passion). Usually it doesn't turn out bad but today...I added to mich milk 😭 now its way to liquid to use as frosting. I tried adding more sugar and confectioners sugar but nothing worked. I stuck it in the fridge in hopes it kinda solidifies but its been like an hour already and its still very liquid.

Im so sad guys

Im thinking maybe I can add some of the cherry jam juice to the cream cheese so it becomes a little more solid. Or completely melting it and adding a corn starch and water slurry to thicken it up.

Please I need solution 😭
