Welcome to my blog. I post my science fiction concepts and drawings, which all exist inside my universe-building project: the universe of the Milky Federation.
If you want to see my SF concepts use #milkyfederation. My main OCs in this universe are the #spacefreelancers.
Introducing the biggest criminal organization in the Earthian Sector:
the Federated InterPlanetary Football Association. Or FIPFA.
It's logo: A football with stars in its pentagons. It represents football connecting all star systems.
The FIPFA has the monopoly on the biggest and most profitable form of entertaintment in the Earthian Sector: Football, including:
Man's football
Women's football
Football (gaining fame over man's football. Anyone can play, including aliens, modded people, cyborgs, androids, women, etc.)
The ammount of money they move surpasses most countries' GDP and its influence in culture and politics is unmeasurable.
Of course, their declared activities are totally legal (even if some shouldn't be). It's the ones they don't declare, that are the problem.
Behind the mediation and distribution of the sport, the FIPFA is corrupt to its core. Every one one of its executives is involved in some kind of malpractice, money laundering, drug, trafficking, (etc.) scheme. Most crime in the sector can eventually be traced back to them.
With the association's power, though, it rarely faces consequences. Besides, it's the only criminal organization in the Earthian sector fully owned and operated by humans, let's have a bit of species pride!
Author's note: I despise football with all my heart. I do not care for it, and the ammonut of money and attention it gets disgusts me to no end.
Mussossians evolved in cold and dark forests. Despite their size, they're surprisingly stealthy. They have great hearing and excellent night vision, senses that are efficiently directed via their extremely mobile, long neck.
Humans are creeped out by their "uncanny" proportions and movement.
A human child got lost in the supermarket. This helpful mussossian clerk is trying to appear welcoming and harmless, which won't stop the child from bawling his eyes out once the initial shock wears off.
Creature idea I got while talking to a friend. She hated it.
A big rock-like lumbering gentle giant with a symbiotic relationship with eusocial bug-like flying critters, which make their hive by digging tunnels and chambers inside the host's anus.
The big host protects the hive from creatures that would pose a threat to them (think bears, anteaters...) while the hive would eat parasites and deter small menaces.
Also, the critters'd feed the host's feces to their larvae. Tunneling around the giant's arsehole wouldn't hurt them, they've basically evolved together.
Is this an original idea? Or is my brain doing that thing of seeing something, forgetting I saw it and then believing I made it myself?
You can find the Prompts podcast here, I drew some of the covers :D Also check out this digital library full of Creative Commons Solarpunk art (neither of these are sponsored).
🦗Somewhat shameful plug🦗
I would highly appreciate if you threw me a couple bucks on Buy Me a Coffee or bought a commission, my money number is only getting smaller these days 😔🤙
If you had to follow one of your gods, which one'd you pick?
Your designs are amazing and your worldbuilding rocks :))
Aw tysm! :D
Also hmmmmm... Most likely Vodjanj? He is big and demanding but doesnt actively torture his followers, just turns them into slime swamp folk. Even recognizes obedience and loyalty and rewards it.
Alternatives maybe Imir-Tirri or Yashkizia. Imir-Tirri indulges mortals in their wishes and that would basically mean they could shapeshift me into anything i desire. Slipper slope in case i go mad with power. And Yashkizia is also pretty chill. Altho may offer blasphemous and mind bending knowledge from long forgotten eons.

Aaaand the two guys who aren't biologists, mechanics, or diplomats. Hán would be grouped with Ankiusk in medical, but Ankiusk had two pages and got posted seperately :(
As usual, individual character blurbs are under the readmore, and-
oh. Hey man. I see you actually have a name this time. And you stole it from the space pope... okay Mr. pirate.
The sole emergency physician onboard the Little Bird, Hán is trained for more fields than she ever expected to be in.
Hán Huì Qún has worked as an emergency physician for as long as she’s worked at all. Born and raised in mid-21st century Beijing, Hán started at the hospital near the neighborhood she grew up in. She was transferred a few times before winding up in an international program. She then worked at hospitals across Southeast Asia, as well as once or twice in Australia.
Then, as Hán tells it, a new space race was started, and she wound up on a ship headed to the area where the Orion and Sagittarius branches meet. She woke up, and went right back into emergency care.
… after learning standardized, of course.
She was still studying to become a xenophysician when the Little Bird’s research initiative was formed and Hán, with the blessings of the program she was already in, volunteered.
She was accepted, and shipped off to Bitriem for further study with Ankiusk.
Kirison is the custodian for the Little Bird.
They are a Tias-style Kosien, supposedly from Tias. Even if that isn’t true, Kirison is almost certainly from inside the Coreside Federation. Kosien are almost never seen on the Enithian side of the galaxy.
Kirison formerly worked for the Federation in aid and restoration. He met Tinnsali there, and the two hit it off well enough to become a Jyl/Jyk pair.
Tinnsali and Kirison signed on to the Tias end of Umblan’s research initiative, and were selected by Diaf to work on the Little Bird.
The Pirate isn’t exactly friends with the crew of the Little Bird, so they know very little about him.
He wears a very modern Enithian style, which implies that he’s from Enith. But he plucks the quills from his tail and neck, which is an alternative trend found more often in Enith’s colonies.
He also wears spur-claws and often wields a speargun, both of which are specifically zoronxie weapons. But the speargun is a weapon from the Coalesced House, which is about as far as you can get from the Enithian colonies on Zornxia.
And at the same time all of THAT is going on, he’s wearing a Sun-pattern headdress and going by Iterant the Apparent. Which is, for the entire Enithian side of the galaxy, a claim that HE is the rightful Prince Acknowledged, not Iterant the March. Thankfully for the pirate, the guy in charge of half the galaxy and its military doesn’t know that the Apparent exists.
So what kind of critters live in the oceans of the Baleen world? Critters like these!
Tube fish are odd "fish" indeed, having evolved a way to remove up to half their body in an emergency situation or to escape a predator. It's very hard to guess the true age of a tube fish, since many shed their lower halves at at least one point or another. It's a rare gem of a specimen indeed that lives to be long.
They keep most of their organs in the first two segments of their body, with the third and fourth growing back ups as they grow larger.
Tidal Baleens have learned how to raise and farm tube fish, and successfully 'harvest' the lower segments once a year from their costal farms. They make sure the fish are well fed and safe the rest of the year, and as such it's a pretty useful relationship for both.
Unlike on earth, the tri-limb body plan panned out and continued to evolve on the baleen world. Primarily in the ocean.
Spiral Jellies and tripods are all related, where as the spiral fish is related much, much further down the family line. Spiral jellies eat similar to earth jellyfish, where they catch and filter planktons and the like from the water.
Both tripods are detrivores, eating the detritus that falls to the sea floor and mixes into the sand.
