So… today
I’ve been back on the keto for a week. It’s so incredibly difficult for to me to stick to. I have started and stopped more times than I can count this year. At my longest change in diet, I stool to it for about 2 weeks. I lost 10 pounds and kept regaining 1-3 pounds. I have learned so much in these journeys specially what specific foods affect my body. I believe I didn’t gain the weight back because pasta and cereal were affecting my glucose levels the most.
I’ve been checking my blood sugar more regularly and learning which foods I should avoid for now. I’ve been struggling a lot more since I got into a car accident 2 months ago and have permanent injuries on the discs on my neck and lower back. I’ve had neck pain since and I’ve been miserable and using food to cope.
I need to lose weight because of my health. I don’t want to have diabetes. I gotta keep going…
When I try to lose weight with any other dietary changes, the scale doesn’t move. My Gynocologist straight up told me had to do the keto diet too and hated it. She told me she doesn’t recommend it unless it’s absolutely necessary.
I’m optimistic I can do this.
