Anyone have any sort of idea when Twitter support is meant to get back to you?
The issues are so long ongoing that I am really fed up waiting and have no idea if I’ll actually get my damn account back.
Basically - if you need the whole rundown-
- wasn’t notified until a DAY after
- was suspended for spam posting in January
- was told the suspension was lifted on 14th feb.
- sent several appeals before this happened
- was able to login on my pc but can’t do anything (supposedly still suspended)
- tried two or three password resets - nothing
- app on my phone says it doesn’t recognise my account for either phone number, user or email.
- tried submitting another three/four appeals, with the automated email to tell me it was no longer suspended coming faster each time. So clearly no one read anything.
- tried another method, claimed there were issues with my two factor authentication to try and get the information to an actual human.
This was about 5 weeks ago, and I believe I’ve actually submitted two of them in that time. I never had any confirmation emails to say that they got the request for help, internet seems to think I should have,
Is there yet ANOTHER issue happening here?
I am so beyond fed up and can’t believe that such a huge social media account is so incredibly awful with customer service. Bet if you have a blue tick it’s instantaneous!
Anyone out there in the wider tumblr sphere know anything about any of this? Should I have got a response, am I ever going to be able to get back into my account? Will they actually respond ever?
I hate that I have done sooooo much on there, I have loads of drafts and I will lose all the people I follow and those that follow me without getting the account back.
