The age old question
Did I not eat because im nauseous?
Or am I nauseous because I didn't eat?
Duolingo is a joke lmao that you have to practice every day is simply a lie, not even just streak freezes, I decided I didn't want to use the app anymore on Friday, it has been five days and I had no streak freezes, but every morning I wake up to a message that "duo gave you a streak freeze!" Like let it die
It took a full week for it to die lmao

I like to think that in the scene where they run on the treadmill/exercise bikes, Shane is actually in better shape but he stops when it starts to hurt too much
I fully believe Ilya was in more pain but he's so used to tearing himself down for other peoples approval, whereas Shane has been taught to take care of himself and that people will like him even if he fails
I'm actually so mad I just got an ad for some ai company
The ad went something like
*sticky note on wall saying "write proposal"*
You know when you gotta do something, but it's too much noise in your brain?
*many more sticky notes with loads of stuff*
Let us help!
*guy puts on headphones and writes on computer, then shows first sticky note with a check mark on it*
It has been mind changing to go to Berlin
It's so much more accessible than Denmark, I could come in almost everywhere
And as a result
There where so many more disabled people visible
It really made me think about how many disabled people are just stuck at home in Denmark, because outside is not accessible
Like there aren't more disabled people in Berlin they are just visible, because they are welcome in the public space
I cannot wait to move out
My mum's mood holds the entire house hostage
Rn she is mad and that means I've got to stay in my room and be quiet and try not to exist.
It was worse when my brother was little, at that time I had to play with him and act fine so he didn't get upset, and my dad was living with us too so he only made it worse
Well I gotta find the exact balance of helping her, and not being annoying and in the way
Like a second ago her phone was gone and I had to help her find it and when I asked if she could use her watch so she could send a noise to it, and she got so mad and shouted that she just put it in the charger and that it's dead and that I should know

Trauma doesn’t cause FND.
Trauma and other psychological factors are relatively common, with a little less than half of patients having them. These factors can contribute to the development of FND, but they are not present for everyone, nor are they the root cause.
The exact cause of FND is still unknown, but we do know that for some people, there can be a psychological trigger. Stress or trauma can sometimes be the last straw before the brain gets confused and starts the onset of functional symptoms. But of course, this is still not a direct cause, otherwise everyone with trauma would have FND.
Does anyone have recommendations for wheelchair gloves? I keep getting blisters and it's making it very hard to self-propel
Preferably not too expensive
The problem with my mum being my main caregiver is that for example today she is busy cleaning the house before there is a showing ( we are trying to sell) and when I call her saying I'm gonna have a seizure she tells me she is too busy and that I'll have to do it alone
everyone loves to think of suicidality as this dramatic emergency, but for the chronically suicidal, it just... isn't. it's a regular, often daily part of life. how would you feel if you were told you're not allowed to talk about or mention something that for you is just another tuesday? it'd be pretty frustrating, right?
And even medical professionals don't understand it, my psyc therapist asks me after every session if I'm "feeling suicidal" and if I say yes I get sent to the psyc ward to talk with a doctor before I can go home, and it's so frustrating because it just means I can't be honest with my therapist
I have started to learn polari and it's so interesting!
Tho it's definitely the hardest language I've tried to learn, resource wise, because it's a dead language
But I've found some websites, books and dictionaries and it's such a fun language!
I recommend every queer person look into it!
Boynopolari.com is a great place to start, it gives 10 lessons with basic phrases and stuff
https://kittensyzygy.github.io/polari-dictionary/home.html is the biggest dictionary I can find!
There are a lot of different spellings of most of the words because it was mostly a spoken language
Gummigoo!!
tw weight loss, calorie counting
It sucks trying to loose weight while disabled, everything I see online has such a focus on exercise and getting your steps in, but that's just not possible for me.
Every calorie counting app tells me that I need regular exercise to meet my goal, and that I should get 10.000 steps every day or I won't get anywhere and it's so disheartening
If anyone has tips please let me know
This is a bad flare up
So I will use my mantra:
This has happened before, it will likely happen again, I will get through it now.
I hate when my legs suddenly go
