Oror pope who lets dennis practice medical procedures on him so he doesnt embarass himself at work. Dennis prefers to numb him up from the stomach down so he can keep pope awake to watch him work- all while pope lets out quiet lazy praise as he watches dennis remove his health appendix..

Dennis who also gets insanely protective and on the edge of violent when popes family tries to get in touch with him because he knows all the awful things they did to pope. He actually goes as far as the treaten their lives and remind them that he has deep wealth of medical knowledge that would make their suffering a lot more painful. While pope hearing this just gets a crazy boner.

Oh oh amd when he meets dennis and starts hanging around him he realises slowly that thats what a real alpha is suppose to be like.. not whatever smurf was trying to model him to be. He didnt need to be scsry and control every room his in, he could just be a guiding figure who cares for the people around him- like the way dennis is always ready to step up and help his friends.

When pope realises hed been on med and doesnt need them anymkre he start hanging around the pitt more in hopes to gain dennis's attention. Established Rabbot, the betting board has been gathering dust for too long and the Pitt is getting restless, so someone jokingly writes 'Whitaker gets laid' on the top. Nobody owns up. Dennis knows in his heart Trinity did it. It's a silly empty board until people start adding categories. Robby bitches about it to Jack before handoff, then catches Jack adding his own contribution to the board. He recognizes Jack's handwriting: 'scary patient'. It seems like another harmless joke until Pope shows up with no more than the usual number of injuries of nonspecific origin, specifically requesting Doctor Whitaker. He glares at everyone else, barely saying three words to anyone. Until Dennis introduces himself. Pope turns those big sad eyes on him and says "Jack says you'll take care of me"

Ok but thsi is cute as shit..

Imagine jack telling pope about all the new people at work and something about dennis seemed to perk his interest. Jack loves seeing that sparkle of interest in pope so maybe he accidently feeds into popes unhealthy obession.

So when the betting board came around amd jack had the chance to fuvk around with it and tease both dennis and his own boyfriend robby he took it. Scribbling down that dennis would get with a scare patiemt then sending pope in a few days later with mystery issues that didmt warrant immediate care but where good enough that he could request to have dennis look at him.

Pope just sat in the waiting room till dennis took him back where he put on these sad lost puppy eyes and mumbled a soft "jack said youd look after me.. will you..?"

Of course dennis does but then suddenly pope is just lurking around the ER all the time- everyone is freakingnout cause dennis is getting stalked by a patient but dennis is loving the attention. Oooooooh i lovve anyideas here.

Imagine its the first time pope has ever had a cold. Like through his whole childhood he was always pretty healthy and never really got sick past a sniffly nose for a day or two. So when he gets a proper cold it knocks him the hell out- poor pope is actually bedridden for days at a time with horrible headaches and a sore throat that will not let up no matter what he does. Hes an awful patient too.

He refuses to listen to a WORD dennis says and just keeps climbing out of bed to try to do work around the house. It gets so bad that dennis calls out of work and sits him down in their bed with a stern look. Pope being as weak as he is to dennis just rolls over and submits liike a good pup while dennis takes his vitals to confirm it is just a common cold and nothing more serious.

His hands felt so cold against popes hot skin thatbit made heblet out small uncomfortable whines "den.. i feel so hot.. and sticky-" he tugs at his shirt as gis sweat had made it slightly damp against his skin "just wamma get on with it so it goes away.."

Dennis huffs and pushes him down to lay "no- you need to stay bundled up so your body can fight this cold- ill get you some cold towels and some food but you have to stay here in bed" he pats his head a few times with his hand to check his temp .

Pope lets out little grumbles the whole time but dennis will sit at his bed side sppon feeding him warm soup to make sure he has something in his tummy. Dennis also pats him down with a cold damp cloth to help with his fever which happens to be the only bit pope sits still for because it makes him feel so much better.

Of course dennis makes such to stay at the bed side babying him until dennis deems him well enough to be moving around again. Them dennis gets sick right after and pope has to look after hik instead LOL

While dennis comes to her in the early hours after a full moon when he cant shift back so she can say hes sick and cant come into work..

Dennis who likes to straddle popes lap with his anatomy text book laid open next to him- his fingers slowly tracing down popes flesh as he maps out the organs he can feel while pushing down on different parts. His hands lingering and pushing dowm on different bits to really get a feel while pope cant do anything but let out little grunts and groans and the sudden pushing.

But its not like pope minds, his eyes will always stay focused on dennis's face because he just loves watching the way his brows scrunch up as he thinks, his fingers almost measuring while dennis looks between pope and his text book. Pope would honestly let dennis cut him open so he can see all his organs first hand- letting his sweet boyfriend map out his insides if he pleased.

Popes thoughts only being cut off by dennis's voice fillimg the silence "you do still have your appendix yeah?" He asked while leaning over pope more to look at his face, his fingers still tracimg the outside of his skin like his trying to find the organ.

"Ah no- never really could go to the hosptial for that sort of stuff with smurfs record.." he mumbles and grumts as dennis james his fingera down

"Ah there it is!"

Dennis could honestly sit there for hours like this, just studying his boyfriends body and leaving small marks from jabbing to hard. But he also just loves gemtly caressing him- finding and learning each little bump and dip on his body till he could basically map him out in his sleep..
