Printmaker Milo Reid explores kitsch and faith in his thesis show, “This Is My Body.” Focusing on the ritual of Communion, Reid's commentary on religion and the physical realm has been influenced by his identity as a queer trans man.
Check it out, Wussy Mag interviewed me about my thesis show!

Here’s the piece I did for the EngageMINT fundraiser! It was done in a new method I’ve been using, where I turn the linework from a woodblock relief print into a silkscreen. It adds another layer of removal from the original image, and I can get the colors to be flatter and more vivid.
MINT is hosting its second annual EngageMINT fundraiser at Mammal Gallery this Saturday, and I’ll have a piece in the anonymous silent auction along with over 100 other artists! The party goes from 7:00 PM to midnight, and all proceeds benefit MINT, a 501c3 non-profit gallery. Tickets are available here or at the door, and here’s the Facebook event page. I’ll post an image of the piece after the auction!
The reception for the show will be Friday, July 31, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Jesus, feminism, beer - what more could you want?
MINT is located in Highland Row, at 636 North Highland Avenue, Atlanta, GA, 30306. Regular gallery hours are 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday through Sunday.
Here’s the Facebook event page. I’d love to see you there!
Sorry I’ve been scarce ‘round these parts as of late! I had to take a few months’ break from making art for health reasons, and I’ve also been working on research for my upcoming thesis while interning at MINT Gallery, where I will be having a show with two other artists at the end of the month!
Later this month, fourteen of us SCAD printmakers are heading to SGCI, an international printmaking convention that is being held in Knoxville this year. As you might imagine, that ain't exactly a cheap endeavor, so we're putting on this show to help raise some money! There will be music, refreshments, and super affordable art by some awesome artists, including yours truly. If you're in the Atlanta area this Friday, come check it out! Here's the Facebook event page.
