Reason #56 to Smile - Sugary Strawberries
One of my clients brought a gift to me at work! Sweet little things like make me feel valued and appreciated. She brought special strawberries from this farm. They are already juicy & sweet --- I don't even use mountains of sugar with these like I usually have to. They are absolutely delectable.
Anyway. All my thoughts are random... kinda... but this keeps me busy while he's away. :)
Reason #55 to Smile - The Wine Vault
There is a little shop in my town called The Wine Vault which serves, of course, Wine!!
I went with a few friends the other night and tasted a few wines until I found a fruity Moscato that I really loved. And then I had some more with my dinner. This place rocks. I'll definitely take my boyfriend here when he gets back to the states.
Reason #54 to Smile - Aquatic Desires
I want a seahorse and a salt water aquarium one day. I read that seahorses need to be kept in pairs, and that they change to the shape of their surroundings. So I want a pink one and a purple one. No idea why or when, but it's something I would like to have on day. :)
Reason #53 to Smile - Running
I signed up for my first half marathon as a way to keep myself focused, goal oriented and busy while my boyfriend is away.
The race is Saturday. and boy, am I nervous.
I've been running and training for it, but there is something about it that still makes me extra nervous. I've been waiting for this race for months, and it's finally here. I guess we'll see how I do. Wish me Luck! Running 13.1 miles in honor of My Marine. <3
209 days. 30 weeks. 7 months. And the wait is finally over. I can’t say it was easy because it was definitely a challenge. Well, challenge conquered. No matter how far, no matter how long, wherever you are, our love will remain strong. Through all the lonely nights, arguments, and the worry for your safety.. through all the written letters, late-night conversations, Skype dates, and the days I didn’t hear from you.. through it all, we held it down and thank you for being the best teammate I could ever ask for. Reason #52 to Smile - Marine Corp Ball MEMORIES
I keep seeing other Milsos posting cute photos of them at the ball this year. Part of me is a little down because my deployed Marine and I will not attend this year, but another part of me is excited for the Milsos who are attending. I see their smiles, and it reminds me of my experience from last year. Wonderful memories. In the end, I'm happy for everyone. Keep on sharing your smiles, ladies!

I am 100% Completely and Shamelessly Addicted to Coffee.
This is something I have every morning, sometimes at night when I'm up late studying, sometimes during the day when I pass by Starbucks and crave it. I love it, and it makes me caffeinated and happy.
Cant wait for coffee shop dates with My Marine when he gets back :)
