TopoPrincipe / The Little Prince
Hey everyone!! Here’s a gorgeous new Disney literature parody featuring Mickey Mouse as The Little Prince! You don’t need to know the original to enjoy this version, it’s very playful and the art is absolutely gorgeous. Above is just an assortment of random images, please read the full story here! Hey, asking you this since you seem to be knowledgeable, so sorry if this is annoying but -- I want to start reading duck comics but from what I've seen from scans online the European ones (specifically German/Italian?) have this really soft and angular art style that I heavily, *heavily* prefer over what I've seen from the American strips. There doesn't seem to be scanlations widely available though, so is there no hope for me?
I strongly rely on the goodwill of the online translators! it’s very vexing and I wish Disney would pull its gigantic head of out its ass and start publishing more european comics in english and give their artists the truly global exposure they deserve
I’d also like to add that the awesome people here on the site have put their own effort over the years to translate their favorite Duck comics from their languages into English. Follow @worldwide-duckverse as that’s where many of the comics are collected to be in one place.
And if there’s someone who’d like to add their translated comic to the archive, they should tag the blog as I’m one of the admins and can reblog it.
And by the way!!
Send me a message if you wanna be a member on that blog to be able to reblog Duck comics whenever you find something good!
Duck Avenger and the Gladstone effect

"Tribute to Ernest Hemingway" masterpost
So, here it is - the whole Hemingway Topolino series is translated to English language. Big thanks to @topidarkenblog who actually started all this with his "Bad Boys" translation. When I saw that somebody is interested in that series - I immediately wrote him a request to translate them all. He responded, and after all I can say that he did his job at 100% involvement. Subscribe if you still didn’t. So, I present to you all this stories stored in one big file - "Tribute to Ernest Hemingway" - (cbr)

Again, another great contribution to the never ending library of topolino Scanlations, bravo!!!
On yet another bizarre day in Duckburg, Gladstone is alone and so desperate for companionship that he decides to hang out with the Beagle Boys (he doesn’t know their plans).
They abuse the hell out of his luck and score multiple successful robberies. Gladstone’s so into the hanging-out-with-ma-pals dream that he doesn’t even realize it. The Boys ultimately get busted and go to jail.
Gladstone visits them in jail.
And tells them he doesn’t hate them.
And brings a photo album filled with pictures to look at together and reminisce about their ‘trips’.

if anyone’s been looking for this comic, you can find it Here [link]! It’s in Greek in this version. And in case it gets deleted, on Inducks its “Gastone, i Bassotti e la fortuna invadente”!!
Yes! I’m always SO happy people keep finding and sharing Duckverse posts!
I once talked about this comics too. It so weird and kind of sad.
Italian copy in mediafire if anyone is interested in scanlation :3
Italian Disney comics supremacy
These silent panels are so beautiful and impactful.
The story itself is also very emotional (it’s part of the Saga of Reginella) and the ending made me cry.
But mainly I wanted to express my admiration for these panels that carry so much emotion with no dialogue.
These managed to stand out among many other beautifully drawn stories.
(Topolino #3430 and #3431, “The Last Adventure of Reginella)
Paul Rudish’s Mickey team is too powerful
donald intrudes upon a private moment.
dhajsdhf HEY THANK YOU SO MUCH!! BUT I don't know if i screwed something up but the mediafire link in your reblog doesn't go to anything it's just the front page for me ;v;

Woo-Hoo another Translation from me /^^/
This time we have the story: “Operation kindness” (outstanding member of the ladies club)
Its a silly little story but worth to be taken among the Dimeshipping fanom I think ^^
Magica grandma (inducks says, its aunt Caraldina. But they look totaly different. I am not sure its really the same person) finds out the Duckburg ladies club is holding a contest in doing good deeds and the winner gets a date with Scrooge…
Of COURSE Magica needs to win that, cause what better way to get to the dime? It’s not that she just burst into his life at ANY time she wants, right? No no, a date it must be!
So she let her granny turn her good with a spell and gets to work. Second deed she thinks of is coloring Scrooge Bin with gold dust… clearly THE way to do something good for the city… Who wouldn’t think to gift the richest man in the world first? Ehem…
Well, Scrooge IS surprised as she wins, but then he just shrugs his shoulders and is willing to be her price. Just like that…Candlelight dinner? Opera? Sure, whatever she wants!
Even as she invites him over to her home. And please Scrooge WHAT have you done the whole evening there while erverbody was sleeping? Why did you stay? oO
Also I snigger at the other ladies swooning over Scrooge and envy Magica for the date LOL
And I LOVE Mim. What a good friend! She hates everything about the plan but helps her till the very end. Even though it means cleaning a whole castle in one night ♥
"Scrooge Mcduck! The only one who can recognize me! What is he doing here?"
What do you mean, John?
You mean:
What is Scrooge McDuck, richest person evern, doing at a humble inventor's workshop?
Or,
What is Scrooge Mcduck, living relic, doing ALIVE so far in thr future?
Any option is a valod question for him...
Can you tell us what's your fav Gyro gearloose comics? I've been reading those you recommended for Gladstone and the others characters and I loved them!
oh that's tough, there are so many! I really love Gyro ;v; but the one that immediately springs to mind is Don Rosa's story about how Little Helper came to be: Gyro's First Invention. I think it's a really nice introduction to the character if you don't know about him. Sadly I don't have a link to that comic but here's the i.n.d.u.c.k.s page for it! Another story which is just stupidly good is the Universal Solvent, but while he's a key player in it it's more about Scrooge then Gyro.
I also like a lot of the original Carl Barks stories for him too, but it's not surprising as it's generally believed that Gyro was sort of a self caricature of Barks. It's tough to pick a favourite story, it's more that I just love the character and how he's written, you know? there's some really fun ones about/with him in the newer comics too but I know less of those owing to limited translations into English... if anyone has a good Gyro story they want to link to in replies/reblogs please do so!
I think I heard someone calling my name, baybeee!
Gyro's absolutely my comfort character and I've been slowly amassing a collection of favorite stories! That said, there's obviously a LOT of material out there so I’m always looking for recommendations myself. imo he's not featured in nearly enough English comics so most of my recommendations are either going to be translated or untranslated, usually Italian. (I don’t speak Italian but it's my goal to get everything I recommend on this list that's untranslated translated eventually ;A; )
Some of my English favorites are:
Weird Science (D 97629) -- He's left alone to guard Scrooge's Money Bin and has to time travel to help himself try and avoid getting the crap beat out of him by Magica and having her successfully steal the dime. This one's really good, the art and script are fantastic, and it's got triple the Gyro, lol. Also Magica!
Deep-Sea Dilemma (D 98440) -- He's not the star here but he's in quite a lot of this comic. He's helping out a researcher (and Scrooge) raise some sunken treasure, but the Beagle Boys also have their eyes on it.
These two ^^^ are both on readcomicsonline.li (have a good adblocker on if you've never been there) but I’m afraid I don’t have direct links for these anymore.
There's also several really cute Gyro/Little Helper-focused stories here: Gyro and the Surprise Staycation, Charleston!, and Little Helper Takes Out the Trash (which I was elated to find, because it was on my to-translate list lol).
As for other languages, the Topolino Gyro is really a lot of fun and he's my personal favorite version of Gyro. A lot of Italian artists, especially Corrado Mastantuono, have a lot of fun with him and get him out of that "invention of the day" style of storytelling.
Ones with translations:
All of the Mad Ducktor comics -- An overworked Gyro accidentally creates an evil version of himself who wreaks havoc, looking to steal the dime and destroy Scrooge's money as revenge for the way Gyro's been mistreated. There are four "main" stories: Paperinik and the Friendly Threat, the Return of the Mad Ducktor, the Revenge of the Mad Ducktor, and the Mad Ducktor Protocol. (My personal favorite is the Mad Ducktor Protocol because I like the art style for Gyro and Mads best, shh, don’t tell Corrado.) Gyro usually features pretty heavily in these. The Mad Ducktor also appears in Paperinik and Nik Paper vs the Mad Ducktor, as well as the Great Race Against Time, but I don't personally like those stories as much (the styles of both just aren't my favorite and I heavily debate them being Mad Ducktor canon. Also, there are a LOT of characters in the Great Race so Gyro/Mads don’t get that much screen time.)
The Ducks on the Road series is fantastic -- a 1970s AU where Gyro, Daisy, and Dickie road trip across the US. It's fun and strange and very musical! It gave me an appreciation for the '70s, which I absolutely did not think was possible, lol.
Beautiful Teeth -- Donald needs (permanently visible) teeth to get a new job and Gyro offers his assistance, and it is...something. It's definitely something. Words don’t really do this comic justice, but it gives a canon answer for the retractable teeth debate...
Gyro...Such Stress!!! -- Overworked (and underpaid) Gyro just really really needs a nap but no one will leave him alone.
OK, Paperinik! Out of Order -- Donald gets stuck in his elevator and needs Gyro to take over his patrol duty as Paperinik. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
These are comics that aren't translated yet (that I know of) but I adored the art and/or they looked like fun stories. Translations are in progress/planned by me (unless someone's beaten me to them lol):
Archimede e la copia imperfetta - D-2005-336
Archimede e la sfida inventiva - IP-3397-5 (Gyro in college!)
Archimede e il picnic tra le nuvole - IP-3331-5
Archimede e l'inventore inceppato - IP-3334-1
Also I know it's not Gyro but I have a huuuge soft spot in my heart for his nephew Newton too, and I'd recommend any and all Topolino Newton stories, they're usually pretty fun (if weird and chaotic, often with really wacky endings...) Sometimes Gyro shows up as well. My personal favorites are Newton Pitagorico e l'aspirazione natalizia (I TL 3396-2), and his Topolino intro story (that I'm almost finished translating) Newton Gearloose and the Knowledge Tans (Newton Pitagorico e le tintarelle erudite - I TL 3357-1).
The entire Newton e Pico in viaggio nel sapere series (I TL 3392-6P) is also so good! It starts by Newton kinda maybe sorta blowing up the school chemistry lab and failing a test -- so Gyro does some parenting and brings him to Ludwig for remedial lessons. (Nobody is particularly happy about this arrangement except Gyro.) This one's an ongoing current series, they just released another installment a few weeks back.
I could probably blather on forever but these would be my top picks for now! (And an absolutely enormous thank you to all the hardworking scanners and translators out there!!)
okay wow THAT’S an ANSWER

Scanlation: PK - The Days of Evron
So I'm changing my process with this. Truthfully, I've only managed to get 3 pages done and I don't foresee having the time to continue lettering my own scanlations going forward. So I've uploaded the translated comic in script format to the usual place for download. I'm gonna contact my usual scan provider to see if I can upload the scans of the story too. That way, if someone wants to letter this, they just have to credit me to use my script.
I appreciate each and every one of you who has read, downloaded and shared my scanlations. It was all a labor of love toward you all and these amazing characters and I've truly cherished every moment of it.
