Some things at Thomas and Friends that make me wonder

They are some facts on Thomas that really made me think. First: What are the drivers doing when the engines are kicking over the traces? Especially Diesel when he is up to something "devious"? Or James beeing naughty for example? Did they sleep during work in their cabs? Or reading newspaper? Cheking their mobiles? (heh, just joking) Its always strange, it looks like they have no control over their engines. Sometimes, its seen, when Gordon gets stuck on the hill for example or Henry that they argue with their engines. But Diesels driver nothing seems to matter. No: "Hey, Diesel, stop it! Thats enough! Stop biffing the trucks around! and so on. A very interesting fact is Diesel 10. Whats with his driver? Did he even have one? Since Thomas comes to Breakfast we know that engines can not drive on their own, not even brake themselves. They are a lot of scences in the series that always let me say:"What in Ladys name are the drivers doing at the moment?" A very interesting moment too is when Thomas decided to go to see the world, in "Big world! Big Adventures" without telling Sir Hatt. He let himself load on a ship and left Sodor. Beg you pardon? His crew simply allowed that? Without packed suitcases, no spare clothes, not even a toothbrush they go on a world travel? Whats with passports, documents about Thomas? Well, in Thomas world they seemed not such problems. The world is free to roam it seems.

A next fact is more technical. I saw that where Diesels face is in the original real 08 engine is a grill and on a simple inside image its show that behind this grill is a ventilation with a fan. So how does Diesel work with a face plate in front of this "ventilation system" ? I dont know if its for air sucking in or blowing out. Imagine air blowing out where your eyes and mouth are.

An illustration from my second chapter of my Thomas and the magic railroad fanfiction. When Diesel 10 attacks in the night Tidmouth yard, he hits Thomas when he was too cheeky. Gordon was able to sneak up behind him and grabbing him. But he could him hold not long enough that the others could secure him and he got away.

My first attempt drawing Duck. And Diesel. After Diesel had to clean up the mess and Duck left, he returned later. And got a black eye from an very infuriated Diesel! This belongs to my Thomas fanfiction, where Diesel remembers how he and Duck met for the first time.

I used a drawing as reference from Ivyartisan to do a version with Diesel 10 and Thomas. The original of her shows Dagur and Hiccup.

This is the second one after Diesel 10 smashed the shed with Splatter and Dodge unter it. I am changing Diesel 10s attire from time to time to test which design would be the best.

Finally I was able to do another drawing illustration for my Thomas fanfiction. In my version Diesel 10 did not destroys the shed with his claw, he was thrown against the wooden construction where Spatter and Dodge were hiding from Conductor Casey swinging at him. I draw him three wheels by mistake, but he has only four wheels in front and back.

A video I would like to see

I would like to see a video where Salty (Thomas and the others included) was singing the "shanty" of the Runbar pirates from One Piece together with Brook. I am sure Salty would like their song. Would be a great idea for a crossover fanfic too.

Here we have Thomas the steamer vs devious Diesel. My first attempt to draw the black Diesel in human / Stex version.

Here Thomas is not just racing over the Viaduct, Diesel 10 chasing after him, here he lets Lady and the Conductor run for safty at the other side, he himself stayed back to held the Diesel off. He was balancing on the hanging tracks under him the river. And with a old tube he is trying to fend Diesel 10 off. I am trying to write a more violent and whumpy version of the chase at the end of Thomas and the magic railroad, where engines and coaches can transform into humanoid mode and machine mode.

I finally was able to do another art. I have been watching a lot of "Thomas and friends" Episodes on Youtube. The originals and the fan-made ones. So I did a drawing of Diesel 10 and Thomas as humanized trains in the style of Starlight Express. The colored one is the new one. Dieses 10 holding Thomas in the grip with his claw at his tender. The lineart one below is the first I did years ago. There are some more of them and I dont know if I have already posted them here.

Some drawings from Red Caboose inspired me to redo the lyrics from this song from the seventies/ eighties, so that it fits for Stex if it would have been on the musical.
