I went to the mental hospital when I was living with him numerous times because I suffered from frequent suicidal ideation but also because I was not allowed to spend the night at any of my friend’s houses and I needed to get away. This choice to go to the mental hospital to escape him could have been working on a subconscious level alongside the organic symptom of suicidality that was triggered by my other disorders.
The point is,
He was toxic.
