Winter Tree XIII
A few weeks ago I wanted to try the cute pastel aesthetic style, using Guilliman as first try. I hated the result and I've never finished it, however I just found it in my wip folder.
I'm going to post it only in case some of you might appreciate a cute lil Guilliman.
Minerva climbs onto the holo table, see’s a holographic chaos marine, she knows what she must do!
Takes her toy sword and starts waving it at the hologram.
Cato sighs. “Sir, she is doing it again.”
Guilliman chuckles and picks up his daughter. “She likes being involved and she recognises her foes at such a young age, truly a marvel.” The Priamch smiles and pats his child’s head.
Cato snorts. “I want to know how she keeps getting in….”
Ventrus smiles. “The door is gene coded, but not finely enough to stop family members from entering…. besides, it is funny.”
Cato snorts again.

THE GREAT WH 40K RP CENSUS OF 2021
GAMERS! In the interest of the 40k rp community, I have decided to create an updated list of rp accounts by faction ✨
I’ve seen newer, promising accounts reblog 40k rp lists in the hopes of getting some activity. The results, I imagine, aren’t tremendously satisfying. To my enduring heartbreak, these lists are ANCIENT: theyre full of retired accounts, and no one’s following up on the newer reblogs.
I need YOUR help to change this 🔫
If you have an active warhammer 40k rp account (as in active some time this year), or are planning to become active, please send the following info right into my inbox, or leave it as a reply or reblog, so I can get started on my ULTRAlist
[your rp account] [your muse] [your faction]
this c e n s u s will run from feb 28-mar 12
& pls share this post around with ur rp circles (ex. in my case, it would be the eldar squad)
Now with more than 60 ACCOUNTS AND EVEN MORE MUSES COUNTED!
Theres a couple more days left, plus, ya know, like a week to make the official post ✨👍🏾
Here’s hoping I get more active from this! [minerva-guilliman] [Imperial] Minerva Guilliman, daughter of the primarch, Returned to a much different millenium then she invisioned. Other related rp blogs [lord-inquisitor-khurst] [Imperial] Lord Inquisitor Hysmine Adrastra von Khurst, a well established and powerful Inquisitor [A bit under reconstruction] [corsair-princess-kaylira] [Eldar] Corsair Princess Kaylira Yldanach, along with co-hort Shadowseer Lannabane. There are others but we’ll start with these for now.

The Emissary
[ @minerva-guilliman ]
Nenime was on a mission.
Her webrunner, Kaylira, banked, turning toward the surface of Talassar. Nenime looked out the bridge’s voidcanopy, where, far below, a small island grew steadily larger.
Castra Domokos, as the imperials called it. Navigation marked out sections of the island, holographically projecting them over the bridge in full detail. It was covered in pale ruins: a gleaming acropolis, clusters of fluted columns, broken colonnades, and freestanding walls - all were interspersed among crenelated blast-shield barricades, anti-aircraft quadguns, macrocannons, and stocky bastions emblazoned with the heraldry of the Ultramarine losseainn.
Very picturesque.
A wide courtyard, their designated landing zone, flashed green as the webrunner made its final approach. Nenime steeled herself. She was the Emissary of Yvraine, and she was fashionably late, but that had been her idea. She was ready.
The webrunner landed, it’s solar sail furling.
As the xenos vessel began its approach towards the fortress, a few sub-orbital defense systems locked onto the vessel. However, as contact was made, the lock was removed, the ship recognized in their system, whirring back into default alert.
The zone that was cleared for the Ynnari delegation was observed by a contingent of Ultramarines, Void Trident Primaris, and the Hands of the Aegis. At the forefront of the honor guard, was the Lord Legate, Laurence Tarchon. He watched, his single cybernetic eye analyzing the webrunner craft descend, his hands behind his back in attention, awaiting the delegation to disembark.
The bay doors sighed open, the boarding ramp came down.
Nenime stood there, appraising her reception as seaside gusts rustled her hair. Oh, it was hot; a heat haze shimmered off the assembled losseainn. Nenime smiled and made her way towards her hosts, flanked by her faithful bodyguards Nonha and Laala.
For this occasion, she’d opted for a formal dress: a white robe embroidered with golden thread and crimson trousers, tied at her waist.
Thin and nearly of height with the losseainn, her bodyguards were armored in silvery Naahali plate. Lengths of black cloth were draped over their shoulders and wrapped around their bodies.
Nenime came to stand before the head losseainn. She spread her hands. “So, Ultramarines?”
Except for the honor guard in their power armor, Tarchon himself wore a more traditionally martial uniform, Austere yet not undeservingly august. However the traditional blue and gold was broken with the addition of black on the livery, and the sigil bearing both the Ultramarine inversed Omega and a new element, a Ram, superimposed upon the older marking. “Some of us would consider ourselves Ultramarines, yes, though it seems by no fault of our own we have ended up with different liveries. I apologize for the confusion this may bring, but I will try to assist you with identifying the various parties, Ynnari.” His expression was quite level, yet there was certain wit to the dry response he provided. “I am Tarchon Laurence, Lord Legate of the Hands of the Aegis, of whom my Lady Augusta, Minerva Guilliman, serves as the Imperial representative for this meeting.” He provides the xenos element with a courteous bow. “Now, if there are no pressing matters, shall I escort you to the main chamber?” He speaks to the Ambassador in the Aeldari tongue.
February is a remembrancer attached to the 3rd fellowship of the Thousand Sons. She’s never cold and can tell time perfectly without having to look at a clock.
A woman of many talents, Feb can play the harmonica, knows card tricks, and is an avid radio enthusiast.
Did you know? In some areas of the Prosperine wastes, unexplained signals can be heard on any portable receiver. The sound of white noise, if persistent for more than nine minutes, can induce seizures.
The study was dark, the soft glow of the desk-lamp illuminating the numerous data slates and tomes he had acquired. Although what he was given was told to be only an introductory and incomplete accounting of the 10,000 years that have passed since the crusade. The Logos Historica Verita had only begun on their great work, and here Daurion Farax is, searching by the scraps between redacted and inaccurate accounts that reek of sacred propaganda. He scratches at his head, scowling as he read through another such text, glasses slowly slipping off his nose, only to return to its place by his intervention, a chronic push back up the bridge. His autoquill continued to mark out sentences and paragraphs with questions, notes, and even pointing out blatant contradictions. At least he was, until the dataslate pinged in warning, earning a heavy groan from the remembrancer’s lips. “Blasted modern dataslates. Barely any memory in this damned thing. 10th one I’ve filled today.” He idly picks it up, and just tosses it onto the pile of others he’s completed. “At least they don’t break easily.” Sighing, he leans back on his chair, rubbing his eyes. He was tired. First the outbreak of the Heresy....the anchorage at Macragge....the flight to Terra...and now the duty to stitch back an Imperium that has been in decline for 10,000 years, only has now been literally torn asunder. There had been no rest, and while an Astartes would be able to handle such stress...he was only mortal. His world and understanding of it has never stopped shaking since. All he could do was press on. Its all he can do. He leans back up, ready to pick up a new dataslate, gratefully provided by the Logos Historica, when his eye took notice of something. Among his shelves in his room, the dim light reflected off a sheet of some sort. With a strained effort, he got up from his chair, and approached it. He pulled it out, and brought it into the light. In it he found a reflection of his own face, but younger. Bright and beaming. With him were others like him, remembrancers bound to other fleets, likewise full of inspiration and hope. Curse his memory....he could recall them all. Lonn....then of the 3rd Legion before her transfer to the 19th, always fitting in wherever she goes. Gwill, of the 10th, similarly stoic as their kin. And of course, the brilliant Wirai, bound to the Custodes themselves, who composed this piece. His muscles tensed at their memory.....at their fate unknown to him still. Did they perish during the war? Did they die later, in bed, aware of the path humanity was taking? Did they have hope that the Imperium could return? Did it still even seem possible back then? He walks over back to the desk, gently laying the pict against one of the stack of books. Then he continues over, to the pile of dataslates, and begins to organize them more properly into some of the empty spots on the shelves. He then returned to the desk, new dataslate in hand, and let out a deep breath, readying himself. He knows that he brethren would have continued to do their work as well as they could. In war or decline. It is very lonely in the 42nd millennium, without the company of such brilliant souls as those theirs, but the task is set. The duty must be obligated. Whatever this poor Remembrancer can do, as minimal as it may be, must be done. The Remembrancer Order has not died until he’s breath his last. Even if its over these damned atrocious tomes.
