After thinking about it for the longest time I have decided to accept commissions!

What do you get? An original, traditional ink drawing in an A5 size, drawn on a bright white Canson paper (lightweight or heavyweight depending on the technique I use).

How much does it cost? 30€ a pop. Half-body, portrait, full body, more than one character (not more than three tho) - doesn’t matter! Simple background is a-okay (see examples).

What about shipping? For the EU, 5€. Orders outside the EU, 10€. Czech Republic shipping for free :)

How does payment work? I send an invoice via PayPal. Because it’s a commission tailored to every customer’s tastes I require half of the base amount to be paid upfront (=15€) and the rest after I finish the sketch.

What to keep in mind:

1) Since it’s a traditional drawing, the ink cannot be erased. Any alterations you might want done must be done before the inking. While I do my best to keep to the sketch, some minor changes always occur - that’s part of the ink’s charm. If that’s not your thing, it would be probably better to look elsewhere, for the sake of general happiness :)

2) I keep the right to post the commissioned work in low resolution to my social media accounts (I don’t know which ones as of yet since tumblr got screwed, thanks for understanding). I will not sell reprints of it.

3) I’ll draw just about anything, original, fanart, fanfic illustrations for example. NSFW or darker themes are OK, but I reserve the right to refuse a commission if the subject makes me extremely uncomfortable.

And now the best thing! Since it’s my first time doing commissions, the first two people to commission me get 5€ off. First come first serve :)

before tumblr becomes a nip-free space for extreme rightwingers, i’d like to say a couple things:

this was the first time I took an active part in any fandom and in social media too, and it was a good run, i finally really tried learning to draw and write and met people who became close friends, so for that i’m glad to have been here.

it’s been an experience sharing my creations and ramblings and such, and it’s been fun. Thank you everyone who liked, reblogged, commented, messaged me, followed - all of it is still appreciated. I‘m glad you took that trip with me.

I’m not gonna delete this blog, if something of it survives the purge then it will be here.

If you wanna follow me somewhere else, there’s of course my AO3. Some time back i deleted my twitter because the place was extremely incompatible with my comfort zone, so don’t look for me there. There’s also my Redbubble account for art and recently i made an instagram, where i’m focusing on original art.

when there emerges another fandom friendly app, i’ll probably migrate there (pillowfort looks promising so I’ll be sure to chek it out when it’s open for public). until then, see you! You’re all diamonds.

This is based on a drastic misunderstanding of what Mastodon is. It’s not a social media site like tumblr - it’s open-source code that allows anyone to create a social media site, which can then interact with other sites using that code. To say Mastodon has “lax regulations” is really misleading, because Mastodon itself has no regulations, it only has tools for moderators to regulate their own instances

Mastodon “allows” pedophiles in the same way that email “allows” identity theft scams. No, “email” doesn’t put a stop to identity theft, but “email” is just a set of protocols for sending messages - it’d be absurd to expect it to

Most Mastodon instances (including mastodon.social, the largest and oldest) do more to keep pedophiles off their platform than tumblr ever has, by having strict rules against it, banning any instances that don’t have strict rules against it, and actively moderating to enforce those rules. At that point it’s as if the pedophiles are on a different website entirely - because they literally are on a different domain

As someone who actually uses it, I can confirm that I’ve never had or even heard of a run-in with pedophiles. Admins know the instances that allow it and quickly block and spread the word about any new ones that pop up. Again, it’s been more of an issue for me on tumblr than it’s ever been on masto

Please reblog this. People love spreading this rumor without knowing what they’re talking about, and it’s driving people away from non-corporate, community-controlled, secure open-source social media. And that’s a real big shame

Even when dying, tumblr still conducts witch hunts. Joke's on me tho bc I shouldn't even be surprised at this point :'') I'm not on mastodon but when I thought about creating an account their zero tolerance to hate speech/harrassment/kiddie porn were the things that got me interested in it in the first place. It has done more than tumblr or Twitter ever had to keep some human decency standard but nooooo let's slander a community-run open source site that is not owned by any shady big corporation (which sells your personal data anyway) and make it look bad for no logical reason without any proof! Dear people planning to move to pillowfort:

As someone not involved in the development of pillowfort but am a web developer, I think you should lower your expectations, but not for the reason you think.

Pillowfort is a baby. A newborn. A smol bab. If you were here during the early days of Tumblr, think of that. 

Pillowfort simply cannot be the immediate solution to your woes. It needs to be nurtured and cared for to become a mature and happy adult. 

If you want Pillowfort to work, they’ll need feedback, advice, bug reports, etc. This is a chance to make Pillowfort the Ao3 of Fanfiction.net. It’s not gonna happen overnight, you need to give it time and love and it’ll get there. 

If you don’t want to pay money to get into the beta, that’s ok. It will be open to the public soon enough and you won’t have to pay a dime. Their financial model moving forward sounds good (a subscription fee for super extra features), but even an Ao3 model would work swell for them probably. 

We’re living in an interesting time on the internet. Governments across the world are cracking down on content and yet community run websites are starting to thrive more and more. 

Tumblr once upon a time was what Pillowfort is today, but this time, let’s make sure Pillowfort can stay independent from mega corporations.

These are valid concerns but like. Have we tried not making a call out post to promote hate against a brand new company made by fandom for fandom? This is the same shit that has been pulled on AO3 this year. Contact them and ask them to clarify their content moderation. Ask them about their concerns about Paypal – they’ve already mentioned on their Twitter that they’re changing domains because of the adult content ban on .io domains. They’ve been nothing but open and honest about everything since they were first announced and far more patient than is reasonable with the amount of questions they receive. And the site was down because it was fixing security issues in order to make the site safer for users. They’ve been absolutely transparent about this issue, which is unheard of these days.

Pillowfort will only survive if we support it. We need our own space that isn’t going to get sold out. Do you think Twitter is gonna allow NSFW content forever? Instagram doesn’t give a shit about fandom. And while Dreamwidth would be great, it would be a total culture shock to a lot of people – they have a 500mb cap for images, a tag limit, and communities decentralize fandom unlike Tumblr’s ability to just look at all of the posts under a single tag.

XD I know we’re all freaking out and feeling a bit directionless the past couple days, but remember tumblr is the home of kneejerk reactions, so making decisions based on someone else’s hot take may not be doing yourself any favors. Pillowfort is also a: already aware of the .io thing and is looking for a new domain, b: also aware of the Paypal thing and looking for a different method of handling payments, c: is not down, though the site is very slow because people from Tumblr are fleeing to it. In the meantime the TOS explicitly calls out neoNazi hate speech as something they will ban for, and they were down at all because they were making SURE a security issue was taken care of (which is already more effort I’ve seen put toward that kind of thing than I’ve ever seen from Tumblr!). They’re a small service right now and definitely not a perfect solution– but so was Dreamwidth when people first started moving to it in the wake of LJ’s nonsense. And there isn’t going to be a perfect solution, now or ever.
