You had me at drinks, really. How have we not met sooner? I’m Minka by the way -- I think we may have just become best friends. Just me and Fred. Lost my Chewy literally about a year ago now, and me and Fred aren’t ready to add to the fam again yet. We will one day though, I’m sure. Awe! Her and Frank can have a play date if she ever decided to leave bed!

So, what time is dinner, Minka? Not that I’m inviting myself over or anything… but I might be inviting myself over. You wouldn’t kick me out, would you? Menu ideas, menu ideas… it’s warm and springy out, so I would say to go with something that reminds you of picnics and cook-outs? “Hot dogs and hamburgers” is probably a lame suggestion, but something light and fruity for dessert is definitely a necessity!

I’d never kick you out! You’re too pretty to be kicked out! But dinner’s ready whenever you tell me what you’re in the mood for! BBQ food is one of the best genre’s of food out there, if you ask me. All the potato, pasta, broccoli, fruit and slaw salads are my fave. And nothing wrong with a good burger -- i actually come up with my own seasoning. Yep, I’m that girl.

Does this mean you’re qualified to teach people how to cook now, too? I’ve recently been trying to get better at cooking and need all the help I can get. All I know is things I’ve learnt from my mom and grandma. As long as you make sure there’s pizza on the menu then I think you’re good. Welcome to town, though!

I could probably give you a few pointers, some tips. I can’t perform miracles, though. I’m kidding -- I’d be happy to show you some basics and help if I can! Pizza is always good -- but now here’s the age old question: Pineapple on pizza, yay or nay? Thank you!

Not at all, and thank you! I figure if I’m going to throw myself a housewarming, I might as well provide the food and drinks! Wow, talk about a five star guest! Just for that you have an open invite anytime! Pigs in a blanket are a classic go to app, I can dig it. I’m in the burbs! Figured I could have a nice layout for my fur babes to run around -- and a fantastic kitchen!

Well if you love something, why not spend all your time doing it? Which culinary school did you go? You can love several things at once. I love art just as much as I love acting or directing, but one is more of a hobby for me than the other. I love eating too, which is why it’s hard for me to give you an idea for the menu. I’ll eat anything. Were you looking for any particular recommendations? Like desserts, appetizers, or dinner food?

I can get behind that! I went to the New School of Cooking in Culiver City. It was the best six months spent of my life. I agree, one hundred percent! I feel like going to culinary school was more of a personal thing for me, as well. Something I don’t share with everyone. Sure I might share pictures of the things I’ve cooked on Instagram, but still. It’s just for me and the people I choose to have in my life -- if that makes sense. I’m pretty much in that same boat. But all of it! I just want to spend the whole day cooking up a storm!

This is how I felt with the living space in my apartment. It had to be big enough to fit my TV, my consoles and a couple of instruments but it was perfect. Cooking is really good to have under your belt, though. I’m not the best cook but… I can try and that’s all that matters. But I’m always down for food! Whatever you got. 

Yeah, living in LA I had a great space, but I never had exactly what I wanted for my kitchen and my yard, this has it all so I was sold the second I saw it, really. It seems like it has just what everyone’s looking for -- even though that seems to be drastically different. Talk about perfect. I’ve always loved to cook, even growing up I loved helping my mom in the kitchen, it was just another one of my passions. In this day and age, as long as you have a phone with an ordering app, you won’t starve, so at least there’s that, right? Leaving me to make my own menu is dangerous.

The kitchen in my new place is what dreams are made of, it’s one of the main reasons I needed to move into this place. A couple years ago I took a break from acting and went to culinary school -- best decision I’ve ever made. Of course I love acting, but I love cooking and eating just as much and I’m not afraid to say it. I’m planning on giving myself a housewarming party and making a feast -- ideas on the menu?
