For those not in the know, "proshipper" really doesn't have a loose meaning, lmao.
At it's core, it means "you can like whatever fiction you want-- including the really fucked up stuff-- and I won't harass you for it or assume what your real-life morality is". You're allowed to find a ship or trop gross, that's fine, but you block it/mute it/ignore it and move along because you understand that people have the right to create/consume whatever fiction they want. That it's your job to curate your online experience. You understand that people aren't directly attacking you or trying to harm you because they make Snarry fanfic or NaruSasu fanart.
You can be a proshipper and not even be in fandom, purely because you sit there and go "my friend in christ I don't give a fuck what kind of fiction you're into".
And "proship" means pro- as in "support of", not "problematic". Although proshippers can and do enjoy "problematic" fiction sometimes, some don't! It has nothing to do with what fiction you're actually into. It's an ideology, it's a stance. Not an action you perform, or something a ship/trope is. (Saying someone is "proshipping" or that a ship is "a proship" is incorrect.)
If you "ship and let ship", if you believe in "don't like don't read" or "your kink isn't my kink and that's okay", then that's being a proshipper. If you wouldn't ever harass someone over hat fiction they like, that's being a proshipper. That is literally all there is to it.

By contrast, then, an antishipper is someone who thinks people shouldn't make their dolls kiss?
