Howard/Phillip mpreg part two (SPOILERS FOR THE TRUE ENDING, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!)
Basically, this follows the events of the true ending, where Howard, pushing through incredible pain, puts the old one back to sleep, and ends up trapped via a leg caught by falling rubble.
When Phillip arrives to save him, Howard only has enough strength to croak out "Our... daughter... Harriette..." Then passing out in Phillip's arms.
Phillip don't know what to make of it, but carries Phillip out of there back to the docks, at first flinching at the sight of the spiders, only for the spiders to part for him, revealing one spider who cradled something safely, being Harriette, who was starting to wake up, wanting her mama, and a bit hungry.
Before Phillip gets a good look at her, however, Doctor Douchebag (Or Doctor Moron, whichever I think is appropriate) appears to try to stop them, only for nessie to
"Nom."
With dr. doucheface dead, nessie takes them, and the one lone spider that Howard saved, home, with Howard waking up in Phillip's arms, and explains what happened, since well, Phillip never got the last letter explaining.
He does agree to help raise his daughter, who, upon seeing her father, gently pulls on his beard.
The motley crew get back, only for the cops to show up, and for Phillip and Angelique to clear howard's name... and get him to a hospital, which causes the doctors to scratch their heads at the sight. Because Harriette's a clean bill of health, despite the dangers and hormones running rampant through Howard, alongside a broken leg, a slight concussion (same falling rubble) a good number of bruises and cuts on his body, and with him being exhausted, slight dehydration, and very hungry.
Though they do agree to help care for their daughter, and move in together, finding that howard had gotten most of the baby supplies while Phillip was gone.
The spiders take over the island during the investigation, burying all trace of the quacks "experiments," and putting most of the beast-men out of their misery, if they're too far gone, the rest given immense therapy and help they need, to allow them to survive... and over time, evolve to instead look like cats insted of spiders, but keeping some of their powers to spread good instead of evil.
She follows in her parents, and her auntie Angelique's footsteps, working in chemistry (not biology, nowhere near that sort of thing)
Though due to harriette being born on the island, with some cosmic powers floating around, she does start to see things that no one else can...
Namely two women.
One who looks like her mum/da (howard) and another that looks like her Papa (Phillip)
All of that coming to a head when she's around seven, seeing the two of them kneeling in front of her while she's drawing, when she says something
Simply asking her da who these two people were, with one of them having three red dripping dots in her forehead.
Startling Howard, who's at first confused, until harriette draws a quick diagram of the first woman's head, including the three red dots, which, when Howard sees them, causes him to have a ptsd flashback of seein ghis mother's body... and passing out.
Phillip was washing dishes when he heard murmuring from the living room, then papers rustling, howard starting to hyperventilate ( he was already about to call howard's name here) then
THUD!
"PAPA HELP!!"
Quickly they both realize what happened, and after a quick search of the police records of his mothers wound, and realizing, "Holy Cow, she can see ghosts now" That they calm down>
Howard's mum and Phillip's sister were also scared of Howard passing out, just checking in on their granddaughter/niece.
Again, no harm comes to Harriette, and if she ever gets a boyfriend/girlfriend (Howard's t4t, sue me) they're gonna have to prove they have no ill intentions with Harriette... or they might find themselves taken to the spider's den
Because while the spiders dont eat humans anymore, they do agree to a partnership with the judicial system, which they'll have prisoners do community service for their crimes (They do get breaks and medical aid if they need it, they're not cruel)
...except those whose crimes were despicable, in which case they'll put you in solitary confinement, working on paperwork completely alone, with a spider officer to remind you of what you did.
