If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?A stranger I remain – Metal Gear Rising OSTMinoru had to fight her entire young life, dying as a child and being unconscious inside of a host for ten years, she had much to learn when she awoke. She had to work to get her strength back, reclaim her sanity, which she still hasn’t completely done, kill people she thought to be her friends, and murder the civilians who lived in her hometown. All to dethrone her father, and take his place as The Devil. When she finally claimed her place as Queen, she found it was completely worth it. She had no regrets, no negative feelings whatsoever.
Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
Minoru doesn’t have the need for sleep. Since she doesn’t have a real body, she doesn’t wear out or become tired. Instead of sleeping she usually wanders around the human world killing thugs, prostitutes, bar drunks or occasionally everyone who ends up within her reach.
When she does choose to sleep, she doesn’t dream. She only ever “sleeps” to pass time.
Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.
1: Her eyes, which rarely ever show warmth or any positive emotions. Because of this, it’s difficult to read her emotions.
2: Her height. In order to seem more intimidating she keeps her height at 6’3, even being taller than most men.
3: Her nails/claws. She keeps them long constantly, in case she needs to fight or defend someone important. She also very much enjoys how extra creepy they make her look.~
4: Her brute strength. She is physically stronger than other demons, being able to lift or destroy almost everything. It’s probably her favorite ability.
5: Her body. As awful as it sounds, she enjoys being voluptuous and getting attention for it. Not for sexual reasons, but because makes most people drop their guard around her and they become distracted.
Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?
1: The ability to bring back those who have been dead for a long period of time. Over the years, she lost many good friends and didn’t rule over Hell until nearly everyone was dead, so she was unable to judge where their souls went.
2: Her original body. Though she enjoys being able to turn into a liquid ( as useful as THAT is ), she has difficulty keeping herself solid from time to time and because she lacks organs, has to force herself to breathe so her blood doesn’t become stale.
3: For humanity to be enslaved. Nothing brings her more joy than tormenting humans, especially living ones. If she could, she would give her demon generals their own countries to rule over as well as human slaves. Though, she would spare the few humans she enjoys.
Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?
Minoru very much favors silence, not as much solitude. Due to fighting in a war for the beginning of her life, she was often fighting enemies or arguing with her allies. Now that she has full command over Hell, she spends most of her time with her generals and few human friends, none of which are particularly loud.
Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?
She doesn’t have the need to eat, but if she was only allowed one thing it would be human meat. As dark as it sounds, she enjoys tearing the flesh and meat from whatever human she’s chosen to devour. Though she doesn’t favor the flavor of humans, she enjoys seeing them writhe in pain and cry out while she very slowly peels them apart.
