I'm sorry if it sounds rude, that is not my intention, but I am exhausted. I have already answered months ago that writing for All of us are dead is not really in my plans right now. I tried but nothing came out of it because my interests are elsewhere at the moment.
Thus, it makes no sense to me to write about something I have no passion for. Emphasis on passion, I don't lack prompts/ideas, writing thousands of coherent and engaging words making up a story takes serious work. I'm sorry for leaving some of the fics unfinished, but there's still plenty of one-shots at my AO3. And you can always search through the AO3 tags for stories from other authors.
Personal confession: I'm immensly enjoying writing for House of the Dragon right now. It's a completely different experience, crisnyra couple has a great community and the support is overwhelming... I haven't posted anything in a month because I'm extremely busy and they accept it... not once has somebody come to, how to say, bugging me about updating...
When I wrote for AOUAD, I woke up every morning to an inbox full of requests - just demands and demands, hardly anything else. The prompts were also so repetative, as if nobody even looked at the list of requests I compiled to check if it hasn't already been requested. There have been several messages of support and I'm immensely grateful to the ones who sent it... but, apart from that... I got tired. I'm not a machine. My phone broke, I lost my notes for the multichapters, got busy with uni... yet the requests kept coming and coming and I was... drained. Lacking any passion to write for a couple that I used to adore, simply because I felt it doesn't matter what I create people will keep asking for more...
So I'm asking for this as respectfully as I can... please, respect your fanfiction writers/creators. We do this for free, in our spare time, often juggling jobs and schools at the side. Sometimes we get too busy. Sometimes life gets so hard we do not feel like writing anything. You asking for more fics/when that xyz is gonna get an update is not going to do anything for the actual writing process.
I've already announced that I'm taking an indefinite break from cheongjo - please respect it. It is said they are planning season 2, which might give me some inspiration. However, that has no definite date and neither has my intention to go back to writing for that fandom... I'm simply interested in something else now.
I'm so sorry if y'all disappointed, but that won't change my decision, so you can stop asking. As mentioned in the linked post, you can subscribe to my cheongjo AO3 series, there is several of them, and you'll get an update in your email once - if ever - the update arrives. In a true GRRM fashion, my brain went rogue and created some OC crisnyra babies with backstories for up to their adulthood. This dialogue was just a tease of their personalities. You might meet them in one of my future stories... when I get there, and the time is right.
Though I know it is controversial, I gave into the temptation and had these images AI generated... it was my first time trying, just so I could get a lasting visual for these two. I think the result came out so eerily accurate I had to share. They really look like a mix of Fabien's Criston and Milly's Rhaenyra to me...

It suprises me some still think Alicent saved Criston out of pure clemency and good heart.
She literally had a conversation with Larys in the same ep., where he hinted that - now her father's out of Court - she has little allies. Those that'd vouch for her solely, above the Targaryens. Larys was probably primarly offering himself, but Alicent thinks beyond that.
The first time she lets Criston go, after his confession, I think she's too baffled by revealing Rhaenyra's lie. It is at that moment she has it confirmed that the family she married into doesn't care much about her or her children. She can't trust them. This is a signal for Alicent she needs people on her side and her side only.
The second time when she saves his life, she probably offers him a new purpose to serve. Alicent could've used the info on them sleeping together to expose Rhaenyra - but the whole Keep already thinks the Princess slept with Daemon so what impact of it would even have - Criston would be punished and for naught. Instead, she can convince him to serve her, perhaps by appealing to his sense of duty and honour.
Alicent is in search of allies in ep. 5. Criston is the perfect candidate for one. I'm not denying the close relationship they developed over the years, but in no way her saving him was selfless and just empathetic. She lets him think it was all out of the pure goodness of her heart because it benefits her image.
TL;DR: ...this is the ASOIAF world guys... Rhaenyra used him... And in a way, so did Alicent.

Just watch how she almost jumps and tears up ppl. She loved him, I will not have the antis deny this.

That being said, I do not own the scenes/video, nor the music, all rights belong to HBO and GRRM. I just re-arrenged it and wrote part of the dialogue. I have nothing to gain from this except for the tiny amount of satisfaction in my crisnyra-shipping heart. Yes, we are still here.
