“There Will Come Soft Rains”, Ray Bradbury
idk man i just think despite all your gripes and grievances and anger with robby as a character, and your hatred of his realistic character flaws, by far the more important feedback to the pitt creators is the feedback from medical professionals who adore robby.
this show was made to honour medical workers and highlight their struggles and realities in that workplace/area. when they say that robby is exactly like them, or like doctors or nurses that they knew and loved who committed suicide (the cast have visited hospitals where doctors have spoken to them and thanked them, and talked about their "own doctor robby" who sadly didn't live), and that they have been crying out for this truthful and non-sensationalised reprasentation, they are the ones who really matter here in this conversation. not you.
they deserve this complex and nuanced and empathetic character at a breaking point, and they deserve to see his storyline, and they deserve to get this good reprasentation of what it's really like to feel like you're holding up the world on your shoulders in a system falling apart. they deserve it all. we're all here because of them. they don't deserve a watered down, piss-poor showing of their own trauma because you can't grasp the nuance of a genuine character.
so, you know, im sorry that you don't like the ugly realities of robby's breakdown. sorry about that. but the medical professionals who relate so universally to robby's life and experience are infinitely more important here, and they dont deserve to be sidelined due to your discomfort with reality.
blue raspberry is fucked up cause it doesn't make sense but then u taste it and it Does taste like if a raspberry was blue
even if trans women did have a notable advantage in sports i wouldnt give a fuuuuuuuuck. wahhhhh wahhh what if minorities start playing games too good! society could crumble! we just have no choice but to unperson them to avoid that from happening. absolute loser behavior.
"oh no the intersex women keep winning in sports! People might realise that being intersex isn't inherently tragic or diseased! We can't have that!!!"

one thing about me is i’m gonna go lay down
"he can't write women" is crazy because its not like women are aliens or whatever but i guess men dont see women as people so it all adds up huh!!!!
perhaps i am missing something but i just dont understand how this is an issue that is struggled with by men. i know i answered my own question above but sometimes i'm floored by the stupidity of it yknow.
and then these guys will sit at the top of best selling lists and be considered giants of the genres they write for. its fine i guess
sorry man im all booked
some people seem to be under the impression that i am taking 6 hours to do a single sudoku. this is not the case. i am doing more sudokus than you could possibly comprehend in those 6 hours.
a lot of stories are about the fantasy of someone going to find you when u disappear from a group function
I was talking about this with a friend but a really interesting cultural shift over the last ohhhhhh ten years maybe is that many people in fandoms view themselves as stakeholders and not audience members. Because of that, they think that the fandom should be running things, or at least have an acknowledged say in how something is run. And every reminder that they are not in control, no matter how small, bothers them.
suchhh a relief to spend time with other insane people. yes we are fucked in the head. we are both going to make it. i love you
