My heart always skips a beat the moment I notice new Yumi Zouma surfacing. I just can’t help myself, I’m too fond of the New Zealand dream pop band. Yumi Zouma has proven themselves much versatile in the weeks leading up to the release of their debut album. While some of my favorite earlier Yumi Zouma songs were very much languorous and wispy, they go robustly energetic on brightly soaring new reveal, Short Truth.
