Karma/Medusa WIP Update!
Holy Crap. I just finished my current WIP. I’ve been working on the beginning of this series for 4 years and I’m so close to being able to publish it. It’s so surreal and I’ll probably cry when they’re published but 🤷🏽♀️
Dialogue Prompt
“You’re not as dangerous as you want people to believe.”
“Hey, Karma. I thought I’d find you out here.” I glanced up at Salem. She sat down on the ground beside me. Everyone else was still inside bickering over God knows what. “Want to know what I think?” Not really. No. I really just want to be left alone. “I think you’re not as dangerous as you want people to believe.”
I glanced at her out of the corner of my eye, huffing out a dry laugh. I straightened, aiming at the tree line. Fire shot out from my palm, burning the grass in front of us before exploding on impact with the trees. It didn’t stop at the tree line though. The blaze continued burning its way through that creepy little forest until we could see the smooth blackened rock of the mountain.
Salem just blinked. Roman - appearing out of nowhere, per usual - laid one hand on my shoulder, and calmed the flames from the fireball. “That was weak for you, Karma. Does this place put you at peace?”
“That was weak?!” Salem gaped, “She wiped out twenty feet of trees!”
“My magic is different from yours, Salem.” I sighed, “When I say I’m dangerous, I mean it. I’m careful for a reason. Hell, I bet that’s why Roman ended up out here.”
Roman took a seat beside me, “That is exactly why. It was too much ignorance and arguing. No one was listening to each other. They were just shouting.” Yeah, I figured. They were driving me insane. Roman has some impressive self control, but all that anger had to be getting to him too.
Salem ruffled her hair, “Sorry, Karma. I didn’t realize. You don’t seem to struggle with it, so I just assumed… I’m sorry.”
“I’m not mad. Well, I’m not mad at you.” Roman laughed, fully understanding as he always does.
“Well I think you’re a badass for not losing your temper when that asshole got in your face. Then again, if you lose your temper with someone like that…” She trailed off, rubbing her hand over some of the burnt grass.
“I’d kill them. Believe me, I know.”
Roman leaned over to whisper in my ear, “I would not have been upset if you had killed him.”
“Thanks, Roman. I’m glad I always have you to support my murderous tendencies.” He laughed, bumping my shoulder with his.

Thank you!! 🥰
If there’s one thing I learned since I signed up on 04/25/2013 8:05:11 PM, it’s that #sins takes up too much of my time.
But I’ll gladly give it to them

Hey Guys!
It’s been a minute since I posted a teaser, so I wanted to give a small update. I’m still here. I’m getting ready to publish one of my WIPs, and planning another. New characters will be appearing soon on this blog from a new story (that I’m super excited about) so keep an eye out for those. As always, thank you guys for reading my stuff, and supporting this blog.
If there is anything you want to see or hear from my characters, or if you just want to see more of one just let me know, and I’ll make it happen! :D
Thanks again!
@sins-virtues
I was never prepared for the worst. I was never prepared to lose you. Because I never expected to.

Writing Prompt #90
The sweater was at least three sizes too big and fuzzy.
“Salem?” I laughed. “What the hell are you doing?”
The girl in question was wearing a sweater that was at least three sizes too big and reached past her knees, and covered in purple fuzz. Before I startled her, she was waddling around the room like a penguin, flapping the sleeves, and giggling. Her bright green eyes snapped to mine in shock, and she smiled sheepishly, “Well, I’m not pretending to be a penguin if that’s what you’re thinking.”
“Sure. So where did this this come from? And why?” Every time she moved, pieces of purple fuzz would fall off. This thing shed more than Roi in the spring.
“It’s cute, comfy, and the same shade of purple as my hair! I like it.” She swung the sleeves in a wide circle still giggling. She looked up at me, and scowled when she noticed me laughing at her. “Awa’n bile your head, ye dobber.”
There’s the Scottish accent I love so much. She’s gotten so good at subduing it, that it only comes out when she’s distracted or angry. “I have no idea what that means.”
“That’s because it is not English.” Ace commented, walking into the room. Roman was beside him, looking absolutely amused at the conversation.
“Is too!” Salem scoffed, crossing her arms. “It’s perfect English. Right, Karma?”
“No, dorogaya.I have no idea what that meant.”
She slapped me with one of her sleeves. It was a pathetic slap, but the message was clear. “I don’t know what that word means, but I think I know what it kinda means. Well I have two guesses. You don’t use it to call me dumb without me knowing, do you?”
“No,” I laughed. If I was going to call anyone stupid, I’d do it in English so they knew. I’ve never wanted to call her stupid, either. If anything, she’s too smart. “It means darling or dear in Russian.”
“Oh,” She twisted her hands, looking down. “It means get lost.”
Roman laughed. Loudly. “How endearing.”

“Oh,” She twisted her hands, looking down. “It means get lost.”
Roman laughed. Loudly. “How endearing.”
“That was unnecessary.”
“I… I was trying to impress you…”
“I am thoroughly unimpressed.”
“Here you go!” Elliot dropped a strange blue box in front of me, smiling proudly. I’ll admit the human had been more eager to befriend me than the wolves or other humans, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t strange.
When I made no move to touch the box, Nanami shifted forward to lift the lid, “ooh! What are those?” It smelt like blood. Bad blood. Old blood. Ew.
“They’re blood bags! Human blood.” Okay..? He held one up to me, “It’s human blood. Don’t vampires need to drink human blood? It’s so you don’t starve.”
I frowned, arching away from the foul smelling bag, “I have Adeline for blood.” Adeline beamed beside me, gently taking the bag and placing it back in the cold box. “I’d rather hunt a deer before drinking cold blood. That was unnecessary.”
“I… I was trying to impress you… You know, let you know that I care about your well being?”
“I am thoroughly unimpressed.” Nanami bumped me with her elbow. I frowned at her, knowing what she wanted me to do. She poked me in the cheek. I’m still not doing it.
“Thank you, Elliot, but you should probably return this. Miss Mirren won’t need any pre-packaged blood as long as I’m around.” Adeline smiled sweetly at him. The boy’s cheeks turned pink as he nodded back at her before wheeling the box away. I turned to her, ready to ask, but she stopped me with a hand on my thigh. “I saved you from having to say thank you. All I ask in return is that you don’t make me explain.”
I sighed, “Fine. Just know, legally, your offspring belong to me as well.” Nanami snorted before full on laughing at Adeline’s scandalized expression. I bit my lip, trying to hold back my own chuckles. Human expressions were truly amusing. Adeline stuck her tongue at us, and stalked to the other side of the room. Where Elliot was waiting for her.
Can’t wait to read more!
