HIII!! I LOVE THE ACOUNTS WHERE THEY SHIP LILIA X DAWN KNIGHT BECAUSE THEY ARE SO PERFECT FOR EACHTOHER!! Can you tell me how/when did you start to like the ship? I'm so curious!!!

Unfortunately,there are a few that ship them...BUT not long ago i found a community where they ship them (even though there aren't a lot of people)!!

anyway! I agree, i love love love lilia x dawn knight!! (obvi) the reason i like the ship, hm.. might sound weird at first, but my line of thought the first time around was "why the hell would ppl ship lilia x silver?" (sililia makes me rlly rlly uncomfy, esp cuz they're my 2 favs and obvious reasons) and then thinking "especially since, there's quite LITERALLY a copy of silver in the form of his dad." and it just got me brainstorming like wait thats actually a fire ship (dawn x lilia).. (not sure if its important, but i definitely dont ship it as a 'replacement' for sililia. i never have and never will ship sililia.)

thats how it started, and dawn x lilia actually has some of my favorite tropes (enemies and lovers, forbidden love, found family (with the lilia-lings), doomed, etc.) that made me continue to love the ship!!

its so sad thats its such a rare pair, i wish it got more recognition!! but whats this community?? pls tellmetellmetellmetellme

sometimes I am reminded of the beauty of life but like genuinely. today my sister played rock paper scissors at a red light with someone in another car, and she lost. it was really funny honestly, the person looked at her, put her hands up and they just... played the silly game. It was like a 5 second moment and the light turned green and we went on our way but my sister and I were laughing and smiling about it all the way back home. thats so stupid and so beautiful. it made my day. seriously, and it didn't need to be profound or lifechanging, but it filled me with such a simple, pure sense of happiness. and whats stupider is that as I walked from the car to my house when we got home, i looked at the stupid sky, blasting If I Am With You from fucking jujutsu kaisen, with my stupid starbucks drink and just stood there taking it in. huh. thank you random car stranger.

A while back I saw some discussion of jobs characters would have after NRC. For some reason the Ruggie one rubbed me the wrong way frl. It was some “put the fires in the bag” ass job. Like he was working at a zoo for animal communications or smthn. Fuck you. He should do something based like urban planning. He would be awesome at coming up with walkable communities with residents and economy in mind. FUCK zoning. Hell yeah mixed use neighborhoods. He’s bothering Leona about the budget for repaving the low income roads with long term use stone walkways. Updating infrastructure n shit.

Kalim’s hair was longer and tidier back home, but once she got to NRC she hacked most of it off. Jamil barely managed to stop her from cutting *all* of it. Tried to salvage it (for fear of being punished by Kalim’s mother) but the results are still choppy.

Jamil’s hate for Kalim comes more from her seeming buy-in to the idea of getting married and such. Hates that Kalim doesn’t seem to care all that much that men hurt them both. Kalim’s rational (that has been fed to her by her mother and the rest of House Asim) is the typical “this is just how men are, and as a woman you have to endure it” (sorta like male Kalim’s “this is the fate of an Asim”) Still, Jamil never rebukes this in front of her because she still strictly adheres to her position as servant and won’t speak up against the word of the house.

So when Jamil OBs and says she hates Kalim’s carefree attitude spoiled brat etc etc. Kalim’s feelings of betrayal come from the thought that Jamil had understood her true feelings (didn’t like men or men’s attention). So, she vows to change by being more forward about her feelings and frustrations, as well as the whole “being more independent and less spoiled” bit as per usual.

How to make it more toxic… I feel like Jamil’s position as servant is easier for her to confront because there is already kinda a pre-established idea in female spaces about breaking free of servitude and being independent. So along with the usual internalized homophobia and competitive tension… idk…

I think KJ as yuri is remarkably similar because the inherent femininity of the idea of servitude/conforming to social ideals… you feel me…
