Miranda Rae Gabor

Ever since I was a young girl, I have been passionate about art and fashion. When I was in high school, I became certain that I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. As a result, I spent much of my high school years attending several of the Precollege programs offered at FIT, in addition to art classes at The Long Island Academy of Fine Art. My grandfather is one of my biggest inspirations. In the 1950’s he had a career designing Lucite handbags. Growing up, he would share stories and wisdom with me about his career and how to become a diligent and successful designer. Designing Children’s Wear is a creative outlet for me; I enjoy being able to express my dreams and emotions into a wearable work of art. I am attracted to the designer children’s market, my true passion lies within creating elegant girls dresses.
