Seriously, Mox has been telling everyone for two plus years what you need to win 'big matches' or to be a champion in AEW and only a few people listen man.
You have to have the work ethic and the mindset to never quit going in.
You can't make it personal. If you do you've already lost.
You have to show respect when due.
A Champion represents the company.
The Belt represents the company and should be respected as an emblem of such, not an idol.
Unless it's currently representing a wedding ring which are usually different matches, often tag matches.
You have to know and respect your History and those who wrote it or you're doomed to repeat it.
Important Distinction: History is not the same as Legacy. Legacy Is Bullshit. Because Legacy is about Personal Glory. You want to be remembered as the best. Okay. Then fucking be the best. Your accomplishments should stand for themselves. They will or they won't. Build Something or shut the fuck up. You can say you're the best, but you better be able to show receipts and back that shit up in the ring.
In short: All the talking about your reasons and sob stories and vengeance and vendettas mean nothing. This is AEW. The tagline is "Where Wrestlers Work". Get to work or you're not winning.
